The Bosch PR20EVS Colt electronic variable-speed palm router combines power, precision and versatility in a small-sized tool. It has a 1.0 HP, 5.6 Amp motor that spins at a variable speed of 16,000 to 35,000 RPM. The router features Constant Response circuitry, which maintains a consistent speed by detecting heavy loads and increasing power to maintain the selected RPM. Additionally, depth adjustment is simple, just align and lower the motor and then lock the router in position with the clamping level. It accepts standard 1/4 in. bits for flexibility, with an impressive max cutter diameter of 1-5/16 in. And the included rugged aluminum fixed base is durable, solid and precise. The Bosch GSS20-40 1/4-Sheet Orbital Finishing Sander delivers even sanding and long tool life, with a precision-machined aluminum sanding plate. It has a beefy 2.0 Amp motor that produces up to 12,000 oscillations per minute (OPM), delivering uniform and smooth results on all surfaces. It features the traditional sanding sheet clamp design, for dependable grip of 1 or more sanding sheets (it also accepts stick-on paper). The GSS20-40 features through-the-pad dust collection and a microfilter dust canister with screw-off cap. An integrated paper filter in the canister traps particles as small as 1/2 micron. The sander offers flush sanding, so the user can sand along the edges of vertical surfaces on 3 sides, for uniform sanding throughout the workpiece.

After purchasing two Makita sanders in store and having them fail, I decided to order the Bosch. The Bosch is better built and has a metal sanding base. The Bosch has low vibration and Is comfortably to use for extended periods. The sandpaper clamps are durable and hold the paper tight.

Sander works great. Easy on the hands but still manages to sand wood so great that you have to watch the pressure applied.

Great little router, the only thing I would mention is that it is loud.

This unit is powerful enough for my application, but I find it a little difficult to set the depth. The collet is also easily breakable, I already had to replace it.

I’ve used Bosch tools for many years in the wood shop….they are well engineered and live up to professional production standards. Buy good tools; in the long run, they can make or break your work.

A great little sander that fits into many places that my 5 inch Bosch Random Orbital Sander can’t go. Since I already had a Bosch sander and a Bosch shop-vac hose I particularly appreciate the fact that this sander has a permanent hose attachment that fits my Bosch hose. It fits a need that I had and I like this little sander a lot!

Easy to use. Does a good job of finish sanding. I use my shop vac and I was surprised how well it controlled the dust.

120-Volt Corded Variable-Speed Palm Router By Bosch This is a really nice router by Bosch, It comes with a 1/4” collet. There are no bits included. It has a 12 Amp motor that is a lot of power. You can also adjust the speed as needed. It has a precision centering system and 3 3/4” base operating that aids in maneuvering along your cutting line. This seems to be a well made router. I was anxious to try it out, but I have no router bits. I’ll have to wait until I can go purchase a couple of different size bits. This router is a palm router with a fixed base, but you can remove the acrylic base and it does have 4 holes so you could attach it to a table. With it being as small as it is, this is a comfortable size for my hand. I think most women would prefer it over a larger one. I’m anxious to purchase a router bit so I can give it a try. It also has an adjustable speed dial (800-25,000 RPM). I know this is a popular brand and know Bosch to have excellent products. I would recommend this Bosch Router because of their well-known and great products. I went online to read more about this particular router, but it seems this particular one has been discontinued. Model # (PR20EVS)

Have not used the one I purchased yet but have used one just like it at work for laminate. I bought it because of the price and the experience with the one at work. Would recommend this router to anyone.
