Works very well with the Bosch 1617 router in the RA1165 base mounted to the table plate. The fine adjustment from the top works well, but it is a little less convenient since access to the router is still needed to lock the height in place with the RA1165 base. The Bosch design includes easy router mounting plate leveling and the front switch. Very important to clamp the table down to something sturdy when using as it can be tipped under use.

A bit of a problem to level the router plate with the table but well worth the effort. Works perfect after that. Having two dust collection ports eliminated 99.9% of the saw dust.

The table itself it great, but I am disappointed with its ability to handle a different brand router. The locations for my router mounted it to left of center, making it difficult to use larger bits. I had to redrill the mounting plate to make it fit my machine, even though it was listed specifically by model number. I am disappointed. Once retro-fitted, it works great. Just like I thought, but a lot of re-engineering to get there.

Great pice of equipment and easy to use. Assembly is here I had issues. The directions call for numerous different types of bolts and they are not clearly marked. After jumping that hurdle I completed assembly and use it daily now!

Very happy. Came as described and easy to assemble. Like mentioned before just check that your router base is specific to this table (with some research) or you might have to buy an extra part or mod the aluminum plate.

I cn see where I will have to redo the fence mounting bolts in the near future.I like the table,it was easy to adjust the router mounting plate. That was a concern before i bought the table. Now my main concern is the fence mounting bolts. No big deal.Happy with the purchase

I would recommend this tool. Of course you will have to adjust the router mount/table after installation, but take your time and it goes very smooth. Otherwise, one little hiccup with the alignment of the fence from the factory, but a small shim in the back solved this issue. Been using it a lot on small projects, the

I bought this table to replace and old aluminum Craftsman table. The fence adjustment is a little awkward, it could use dedicated slides instead of grooves for carriage bolts. Overall it seems to be well built with an area for storage of accessories that is not ideal as wood chips collect under the router but are easily cleaned out. This is a good solid table for the price.

The overall quality is OK, but the router table has a few poorly designed features. I’ve made a number of modifications and now it works the way I like it. First the track for vertical and horizontal feather boards are not very well designed. The vertical track was easy to fix – I got rid of the bolts it came with the unit and used regular hex head bolts so now it works fine. The horizontal one took more work. The track itself is really cheap and not standard so you can’t use it with any other tool such as a miter gauge, your own jigs or sleds. The feather boards are OK but have cheap plastic sliding parts. I routed out a wider, deeper grove and installed a dual track with a standard 3/4 inch track for other tools and a hex head bolt track to use the supplied feather board. The other issues are the carriage head bolts used in the MDF to adjust and secure the fence. Mine started to show signs or wear right away because the hex part of the carriage bolt would twist in the grove each time it was tightened. It also has a limited range and was a real pain to remove and reinstall each time you wanted a simple flat table vs using it with the supplied fence. I routed in two larger groves and placed two longer hex head bolts clear to the rear of the table so removing or replacing the fence is a breeze. The fence is much more stable and easy to use.Another minor complaint but not really a show stopper is the switch location. I keep catching my shirt on it but after a while you learn to work around it. Eventually I’ll make my own router table with better router mounting base adjustment screws, but this one works good for now.Give Bosh credit for really working hard to throw in a bunch of nice features for a reasonable price that serious amateur woodworkers need. It has a really nice rigid mounting base that can accept top height adjustment router bases, a thick/stable table, a full cabinet, great fence, an external switch that accepts your router cord from inside the case. They just came up short in a few areas but the great thing is with a few easy mods the poorly designed features can be improved and now my router table rivals many much more expensive units.

Split fence is a problem had to shim to get them even. Router plate too low and cast as others stated. I used some washers to even the plate to the table. I did use some silicon spray and wiped it dry to help the material slide across the table. Over all I was able to complete my project but will probably build on in the future with better materials. I use a Bosch router and had no issues getting it set up.

I have been using this router table for awhile now. It was easy to set up and use. The only thing I would change is how the fence attaches to the table. Instead of the 1/4 x 20 carriage bolts that go into a slot in the top, I would put t tracks on each side closer to the edge of the top with 1/4 x 20 hex or t bolts that way it would be easier to adjust.
