Putting together this unit was not difficult, even fun. Just make sure you spread out all of the parts, keep like screws together, etc. Mine came with extra screws, bolts, etc. so don’t worry if you have leftovers.Unit is well built and sturdy. I read a lot of comments about the router plate not being the same height as the table, well one washer in each of the 4 screws that attaches it to the table fixed that.Great product. Fits my 40 year old Craftsman router like a charm.

This is a great table, the only problem is that I did not know that not all routers will fit. As it turned out I have to routers that do not fit your tablew. So I had to buy a router that will fit your table. So now I have a router that has the same name as the table. BOSCH Great router now too..

I have been using this table for a year now and have made several sets of raised panel doors. Have not had issues leveling the aluminum insert that others have mentioned in reviews. Very convenient router adjustment using my Bosh routers. Two things that would bring it to 5 stars; non-plastic inserts, a little larger table.

This is much larger than I thought it would be from seeing the pictures. It’s very sturdy and well made. I bought it as a back-up to my full-size router table and I think it’s going to be a great addition to the shop. I already owned the Bosch 1617EVS router with fixed and plunge bases. I bought the Bosch RA1165 Under-Table Router Base so that I would have height adjustment from the table top. Now it’s just a simple matter of removing the 1617 motor from its base and inserting it into the RA1165 base which is permanently mounted to the table. Quick and easy. This is a well designed, rugged tool and I’m sure I’ll get many years of good use from it. Highly recommened.

I bought this about a month ago to make bull nose finishes on new treads I am making. It worked well, and this model is a good choice for a home workshop.

An excellent router table for the price point. I looked at all the major bench top router tables, Benchdog, Kreg, Bosch RA1181, before selecting this one, and I’m happy with my choice. It’s built sturdy and is flat and square. I liked that this RT was a cabinet style with an external 2 plug on/off switch. The fence is surprisingly sturdy and straight. I was a little disappointed in the router plate, it’s nice that it’s Al, but it’s cast Al, which makes it feel a little cheaper, but it’s sturdy and can’t complain for the price. If you have the time/money/space, I’d recommend getting a full size router table top and building a table under it, but this little table is perfect for my needs for now.

This Bosch Router Table w/cabinet is a real bargain. I compared this router table to quite a few others including router table tops only and nothing comes close for quality, features and value. Most have a plastic or phenolic insert where this one is aluminum. The Fence is well made and well designed. This Bosch table even comes with Feather Boards. I’ve built, bought and sold quite a few router tables over the years and bought this one for a small project to make some rails for a couple of windows and it should do the job nicely. It went together quickly and easily with very good instructions. The Router Insert however did not fit my Dewalt router, no big deal, drill a couple holes, counter bore the holes and done. Took less than 5 minutes to solve that problem. Leveling the Insert so it is flush with the table is very easy and took about a minute or two. Tighten the mounting screws then back them off slightly. Put a level on the table to see if there is a gap from the insert to the table, if low then back out the leveling screws, if high then screw in the leveling screws, then tighten the mounting screws and check again.I like that it has a door on the front with a vacuum port on the back of the cabinet. That way I won’t have sawdust all over me. I use a 6.5hp shop vacuum with a tee fitting so I can vacuum from both dust collection ports and works great. The Power Switch works just fine, easy to turn on and easy and quick to turn off. Overall a really nice quality Router Table and an excellent value.

Overall it is a very good table. Went together very easy using the included instructions. The only issue I have had is the insert leveling screws move by themselves when moving or using the table. I had to add some pipe thread tape to the threads to help hold them in place. If this don’t work then I will put a small drop of thread locker on them. Once it is leveled, it should not have to be adjusted. I am using it with a Harbor freight plunge router. It mounted right up with no modifications. I have been using it with jig templates, flush cut bits and chamfer bits. Works great.

Table assembly was simple, attaching Bosch fixed based router to table was simple. Only complaint is a lip on the metal plate that sometimes will catch on long passes, can lead to uneven routes.

Not all holes line up for the fence, had to cut away the back so the fence bolts were able to move. Other than that happy with the router table.

I received this table for x-mas 2016 and didn’t use it until Spring but is a nice table. Had a little issue with the vacuum port since it was way bigger than my smaller shop vac. It assembled easy enough and simple to use. I did however drop the yellow safety key and it broke very easily. I would recommend getting a replacement or being very carefully with it when taking out and putting back in.

This router works well with relatively small parts if you’re not expecting perfect results. My main issue with the design is the way the fence is adjusted and held in place. I can’t believe Bosch didn’t use T Tracks to adjust and lock down the fence. I’ve ruined two projects on this router due to the fence appearing to be properly locked down… but… not so much. One of the two bolts was cocked a bit under the table and when pressure was put on the fence, the fence moved. I’m in the process of routing out the back of the table in order to install T Tracks to correct this problem. Also, as others have mentioned. It would have been nice to have the graduations on the fence be a bit finer.

I received this as a gift. The person giving the gift thought it included a built in router. It turns out it doesn’t, and it doesn’t say this anywhere on the box. I have a bosch palm router and looking through the table router directions the model wasn’t listed as one of the compatible models. It did go on to say there are many types of routers you can use, you just need to purchase an adapter plate. So I go to the store to purchase one and think to contact bosch while we’re there. They then tell me the palm router isn’t compatible at all even with the adapter plate. It won’t have enough power. I have used the palm router for a year and never had a problem with it not being strong enough. So this then means I need to purchase myself a gift to the tune of another $200 if I want to use the original gift I was given. Long and short the table works great. It’s a lot easier and safer to use than the palm/hand router. I just wish it had said something on the box about not including a router and then about smaller routers not working.
