This is an excellent router combo/kit. This is a tool that may not be beginner friendly because it it loaded with almost everything an experienced or professional user could ask for. I think the lower reviews come from newbies not able understand how it works and what you can do with it. That being said, I have been using routers and woodworking power tools for over 40 years and this is by far THE best router I have ever bought and used…. it is just flat-out good. I have found absolutely nothing to complain or criticize about with it. Read the instructions carefully as you look it over and pay attention to how everything works and you will have no problems using it. And using it is a pleasure because of the quality, craftsmanship, controls and every other part that Bosch has put into it….. it’s just that good… period. I highly recommend this router combo/kit.

Wonderful router table. Just what i expect from Bosch, I read all negative reviews, and found none were true in my expierence. The table came in an undamaged box. Assembly took about an hour and fit my Bosch 1617 router perfectly. Would definitly recommend this product.

I had to return one, the switch didn’t work. Yes I know about the reset. I program 2 million dollar CNC. I think they should check them before they send them out. Bosch Did not send a part they said I had to bring it back to the store HD took it back no problem but it still was a big hassle.

I just bought this Bosch RA1181 Bench Top Router Table to replace or in addition to an old Craftsman router and router table that I have mounted with DeWalt brackets for DeWalt’s Miter Saw Bench. I would love to know about Darell’s custom table. That would be a very special addition. Looks like a terrific portable stand for this router table. The only problem is how to find out more from Darell about his custom creation without every nut in the world knowing our email or telephone. Price for this Bosch is good and seems like a very functional tool with the included accessories. I have no doubt I will enjoy working with it.

I am mostly happy with this table HOWEVER unlike what is stated below, the miter slot has a U profile, not a T profile! I wanted to use my Incra miter guide with it but it won’t lock into the slot. Fortunately (?) the slot is also wider than the nominal 3/4 inch so I’m hoping to be able to find a sheet-metal adapter that converts it to a T-slot. Quality is otherwise good. Still… Bosch should not say it’s a T slot if it’s not!

Good value, easy to assemble with a sturdy top. Using this with my Milwaukee corded router only concern is there isn’t an access hole for adjusting height with the wrench but it is easy to reach under to adjust.

This is an excellent router platform. I also bought a Bosch router to ensure compatibility. Works great and very stable. I have used it many times in the last few years and very durable. I call it a router platform because a table it is not. Too low to use on the ground and too high if used on a workbench. What I did was build a custom table that makes this the best portable Router table on the market. Love my Bosch Router platform/table.

Overall, the benchtop router table is adequate. My issue is with the system used to attached the feather boards to the router table. It’s a pain to use. My second issue is not really an issue with the router table itself, but more that I was not able to use my Jessem router lift in this table. The opening is too small for the lift. Overall the table will suffice!

rating is just based on the setup, this has not been used yet.matching which screws go where and checking you have all the right ones according to the parts list is not easy, and I’m not the only person who has trouble looking on the internet. Its 2020, make a youtueb video with step-by-step guides.

This is an upgrade from my 35 y/o craftsman router table. The table is smooth, the fence is very solid. The insert took some time to get level, partly due to the fact that my craftsman didn’t have an insert plate, so I’ve never adjusted one before. Very nice, very solid!!
