Powerful and yet feels comfortable to the grip, this rotary hammer works like a charm. The usual Bosch quality I can trust. I expect many years of good service from this Bosch rotary hammer.

Powerful drill for concrete at a decent weight. Unfortunately it requires Bosch bits which makes my other bits useless. Don’t expect this tool to be a fantastic chipping gun but it’ll drill fine.

This is one of the best tools I have ever gotten. And I am not exaggerating one bit. Irecently completely a project where I put down a sand based patio in my backyardwhich is fenced in. In order to put down the track for the pavers to sit in, I had to get ridof concrete that my fence posts were planted in for stability. I took out this hammer drill, bought a SDS chisel bit, and went to work. First off, the hammer drill comes in its owncarrying case which is really nice and convenient. Setup and usability was a breeze. Iread through the instructions but basically just inserted the SDS bit in directly, hooked itup to power, and started going through each setting to get a feel for it. It has multiplesettings of operation, from drilling alone, hammering alone, and drilling and hammeringtogether. It also has rotation feature to get the chisel in the correct axis for you. And ithas a forward and reverse spinning gear to switch over to. This hammer drill wentthrough the concrete posts like it was nothing. It literally just pummeled the concrete intopieces. It was almost effortless. It was so effective that I drilled out extra concrete justfor fun. Nothing slowed the hammer drill down – it was fantastic. The tool isn’t overlyheavy and feels like it is built to last. It’s not too noisy and is plenty powerful. Sopowerful in fact that I actually got the bit stuck when I went too deep into one of theconcrete blocks. This was not the tool’s fault – it was my own user error since I chiseledin too deep and actually got it lodged in the wood base of my fence. The special vibration handle dampens a lot of the harsh vibration so you can continue to use the tool for awhile. It does require aSDS bit, but if you feel the need you can buy a 3 jaw chuck for it so it can be a littlemore versatile. Again, what a great tool. The true testament to this tool is that my father, who isn’t usually a fan of “fancy” new technological tools, absolutely loved it. Hecontinued to praise it and said it was the most impressive tool we bought for the entirepatio project (and we bought many, many good tools). Well done, Bosch.

chewed through 8″ of concrete. Don’t know anything else that would have done it. Without getting gigantic that is. I wasn’t even expecting a hard case for the Roto Hammer so bonus. Also the case has room for all my concrete bits. Maybe I can fit a small extension cord too.

The excellent little piece of machinery is easy to use. It’s very quiet (well, as hammer drills go…). Truly.Quite easy to install the bitsThe shock absorbers work really well. This hammer drill does NOT vibrate your hands off.We used the hammer drill to drill holes in brick to install anchors for a porch roof and kitchen cabinets. We used it on a large block of slate for anchoring a piller.
