This is a great sander. I had another one that worked ok, but replaced it about 6 months later after using it. I love Bosch tools so, of course, I had to pick one of these up! It is very comfortable in the hand and doesn’t seem to cramp up my hand like my previous “other” branded sander. It wasn’t bumpy, but rather smooth and efficient for the tasks at hand. I would definitely purchase another!

Build quality is good. Noise level very quiet compared to my other make.Low Vibration. Hook and Loop pad of higher quality rubber etc compared to some makes. Dust collection ok…still leaks some dust onto itself and work area but probably a vacuum hooked to it would greatly improve that. I got a good deal on a twin pack which also included it’s twin the sheet sander. I might have chosen another make if it hadn’t been a great deal. I’m satisfied with it and so far no issues. If you need the variable speed I’d recommend the model with that feature but this works great for my needs. Only complaint is the 1yr warranty…should be 3yrs+ like other top makes.

Bought this item because I was getting tired using elbow grease. The project I was working on needed lots of sanding and this Bosch sander made it a joy to work with. The best feature I like about it is the hook/loop that attaches the sanding discs and they stay in place. The cord is long enough that an extension cord isn’t needed, unless you’re out on the back 40. Awesome little unit.

I am not exactly a DIY person, but when they announced they would be pressure washing the exterior of my condo, I thought, well I should put sealant on the deck (which the HOA doesn’t do often enough). So, that meant sanding the deck, which meant adding an orbital sander to my tools of necessity collection. I did not have much time between the pressure washing and the next rain, so I did a little research, chose the Bosch, and now I am very pleased. The instructions are clear, and it was easy to use, which is just what I needed. So, within minutes of opening the box, I was off sanding the deck, and it got the job done fast, too. Faster than I expected, in fact. It’s a great little tool.Also, Home Depot got it to me fast, too, and earlier than the initial deliver estimate. So, it was positive experience all around.
