I have a few sanders and by far this is the best sander of the bunch, A couple of notes- The place where you hold the sander is a bit bulky, it could be a bit big for small hands.- When using the sander as far a dust collection, It will work MUCH better with pads that have 8 holes.

Virtually no vibration in my hand and the tool runs pretty quietly.

Awesome little palm sander! Smooth and well built.

Does the job of sanding very well. Feels good in the hand catches some of the dust okay. The location of the switch and how you press it could be better as it is a bit tough if you needed to switch on and off on the fly. For some reason the sandpaper refills doesn’t line up as good with the holes which is where I think the dust is being sucked in, if it were, more dust could be caught. Ample power even at setting #4 (up to #6).

My only complaint is that it’s a bit jumpy. Hopefully, that will resolve somewhat as i use it

Best sander I ever had. Bar none.

truly variable speed and quiet…night and day difference between my Black and Decker Smart Select and this unit….well worth it.

Less vibration than the Ridgid and filters dust better. We’ll see how it holds up.

One if the best in this tier of orbital sanders. I have two and they were my go to for years. After recently upgrading to Festool, I recognize there is a difference. These are great for the price and I recommend them over others at this price. Dust collection is most important piece and these do well when connected to a shop vac.

Haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I like the looks of the dust collector on it. Hopefully it performs as well as it looks!

It was what I expected from a sander.

If you get just one sander, make it this one. Works great for everything from reshaping with 60 grit to a beautiful surface with 320 grit – All without the vibration and rattling you get with a normal pad sander.

I have a cordless orbital sander but needed something that was going to last longer for a bigger project so I purchased this. The pros are it’s reasonably priced, quiet, pretty dust-free, and comfortable to work with. It’s particularly smooth and does not vibrate aggressively in your palm and gradually gains speed when starting it. The cons are that the discs just don’t stay on reliably, especially if you need to do any vertical sanding. If not, then it stays on reasonably well if you keep a little pressure on it. I could not use polishing discs with them as they just came off every couple of minutes. It also did not take off as much surface as my other (cheaper) battery operated orbital sander which was disappointing. I kept it but wish I invested in something better.

Rough sanded 80 grit about 1400 on ft 1x 6” V-Matched pine board and finish sanded 220 grit after 1st coat of poly and this sander did a very nice job with no problems. Used the vacuum attachment and vacuum and had little or no dust escape from sander making clean up very easy. Easy on the hands and wrists during use. Would purchase this sander again.

Borrowed this kind of sander from a friend and liked it so much I bought one. The hook and loop sand paper is a lot better then my old sander and also like how fast it does the job. Also make a great finish

This tool has become a staple. After trying out Dewalt, Porter Cable, Makita and Ryobi, this is the most consistent. Responsive orbit and spin, if your sandpaper is clean this is the best ROS you could own.

Works great

Pretty darn good
Luella Schaefer (verified owner) –
Works well. Good dust collection.

Can slow down if too much pressure is applied, but otherwise works well. After 1-2 hours, I need to stop to allow the tinging in the fingers to subside from the vibratory action.
