Excellent sander. The dust catch box works very well. The thing I like the most about this unit is the variable speed. It allows for finesse when fine sanding of details are required, as well as has good power for the more coarse sanding projects.Very please with product.

I am very much pleased with the sander. It is comfortable to use, and does not pull away from the work area. The dust collector works very well.

Does the job

Wow. Cuts so smooth it is like a hot knife going though butter, even blows the dust away so I can see exactly where I am and where to continue my cut. This is a dream tool and is so worth the little extra expense over what an inferior jigsaw would cost.

I have used this sander for a few hours. I worked great on large open areas but in tight quarters and nooks and crannies it was difficult to get in close. In some places it was a bit bulky and sanding pad was to large for some areas. The area needed hand sanding.Generally this sander works very well.

I bought this orbital sander for occasional use on DIY projects. I’ve used some cheap orbital sanders before which have these mesh filters which basically useles I’ve decided to give it a try. According to advertisement, this sander has the best filter system, which in reality is a little better than the mesh one, plus you have to clean it so often that after a while it gets annoying. Big advantage this kit includes vacuum adapter which fits my RIGID vac perfectly! The sander performs great, has variable speed, lightweight and when used with the vacuum the dust is reduced significantly. In this price range definitely the best product for the buck!

The sander worked great except for the dust collecting attachment. It did didn’t collect at all, the dust bypassed it.

I purchased this sander because many independent review sites had it listed as one of the top performers. Have already used to remove old cracking paint and it has worked very well. Will look at other Bosch items now. Well worth the price.

Happy with sander. If one thing could be better it would be dust hose connection. With a little fiddling around i hooked up vac. But it should not be this tough adaptor included was not right size for vac so had to create adaptor to fit

Got this sander last year and was very impressed with how well it performed and its ergonomics, that is, it very comfortable to hold–important if you are doing a lot of sanding. Also, was wowed by how much dust it collects in the dust attachment. In my experience, these dust attachments are more show than go. And when I hooked up a shop vac to it, the surface I was standing was nesrly dust-free.Compared to a much more expensive sander I own, the Bosch is superior. More comfortable to use, better dust collection and better results.

I bought this 3 weeks ago to finish some kitchen cabinets and an armoire I built for my wife. Too say I’m glad I did is an understatement.I handeled several sanders the day I bought it to see how each one felt in my hand. The way it fit my hand was very important since it would see a lot of use and I didn’t want a tool that would fatique me. My Bosch has done all that I have asked and I have no doubt it will continue to do so.One last thing. The dust collecting cartridge keeps the dust down and is easy to empty. I put my dust into a pill bottle to mix with glue on my next project.

Work well on my kitchen cabinets! Just let the sander do the work. Use the correct grit sand paper. The cabinet finish is so smooth!

I’ve only used it so far for light duty projects involving smaller pieces of wood which it runs through with ease. I can’t give an account of how it handles harder materials. The carrying case is a nice extra.

Have only used it once to make some cuts on 1.5″ material and it worked great.
