First random orbital sander. First sander I have purchased in 20 years. The unit is easy to use but it fills up the attached dust chamber very quickly. Snapping that cover off and on many times will probably shorten its life. I would rather hook up my shop vac to it. Unfortunately the adapter they provide simply slides on, with no ‘catch’ of any kind. The catch on the dust chamber is terrific, locks in very solid. That appears to be because there is a detent of some sort built into the inside of the dust chamber connection. When I use my shop vac, it slides off within seconds (no detent on the supplied adapter). It is unusable in this configuration. I called their support line (very nice people). They too had the same issue I did so they reported it to the ‘engineers’. The engineers said theirs works fine so I guess nothing will be done to fix this. I was sent a new adapter and o-ring but its the same that came with the unit. I will look for another brand soon.If your sanding needs are minimal then this is a decent product. But if you sand a lot and you want to control dust in your shop, look elsewhere.

Bought this product as a dedicated sander for a linseeded fence cap. It exceeded my expectations. The only knock is the sawdust catcher has baffels which are slow to clean – Bosch should consider the traditional bag in future models.

I spent a couple of evenings reading a ton of online sander evaluations and reviews. Although I have a truck full of yellow and black tools I settled on this one and couldn’t be happier. I just used it to finish sand 13 oak treads, 15 risers and a 3’x3′ landing of 3/4 oak flooring for a home stairs recover project. Couldn’t be happier with the performance. Dust collection was great but keep shop vac handy to thoroughly clean paper filter. The dust collection box does require more frequent emptying than some with bags but air borne dust seemed to be at a minimum. The adaptor for shop vac use needed a couple wraps of masking tape to snug it up. Very pleased with the hard plastic carrying case as opposed to the zippered canvas bags so common these days. I would appreciate a little more room to carry a good assortment of new sanding disks. I haven’t had the opportunity to use it extensively as yet but my 1/4 sheet sander is going to stay in the box a lot more now that I have this.

This is the first new jig saw for me in many years and I am completely satisfied!!I am using it to cut red oak and with the proper Bosch blade it is effortless. A friend and fellowwoodworker said if he couldn’t buy Festool, Bosch is next inline. I completely agree. This saw is worth every penny!

The ROS20VSK is an excellent sander that’s relatively easy to handle, collects most of the sanding dust, and leaves a clean finish without causing swirl marks. This sander is also available with either a hard plastic case or as a bare tool. I purchased the tool with the case, which is very substantial. Sadly, many Bosch power tools are not available for purchase in the USA market with tool specific cases.

The sander does a great job. Its has plenty of power and is comfortable to operate. The dust collector twist on and off easily. The collector’s lid is a little tricky to remove but have patience, it will come off and go back on with a snug fit. I recommend the hard carrying case. Fast Shipping!

Great tool. This is one of those tools that I still like to have corded for stability and precision. I am a weekend project guy so want to be clear on that. This cut very smooth and stable and ran like a sewing machine. The protective baseplate was smooth and sturdy superior than others I have used.

I replaced my old porter cable sander with the new Bosch sander. The difference in the 2 is amazing. Very minimal vibration, quiet operation, softer sanding pad, and outstanding dust collection are all great features of my new Bosch palm sander.

I’ve had this sander roughly 3 years now and it works just as well now as it did when it was new. The variable speed is incredibly handy, Andy make sure this sander so versatile for pretty much any sanding task I come across. Would absolutely buy it again.

I bought this 2 months ago for some wood working and later, some plaster sanding. Feels solid, performs as one would expect. Dust collection is ok (feels a little flimsy but adequate so far).

After using this sander on a number of projects, I am very satisfied with this product. Like the title says, it does everything you want and need a random orbital sander to do. I really like how smooth it is!

This is my first orbital sander, I did a lot of research on all orbital sanders & decided on the Bosch ROS20VSK model & I diffidently made the right & good choice. Very quiet, very little to no vibration, no swirl marks using all grits of sand paper, finish comes out very smooth, cuts thru painted lumber so easy & the variable speed works great on differentapplications. the hard case is well designed & well thought out, the pins on the inside of the case cover is a great help attaching sand paper to the sander, no struggling lining your sand paper holes with the holes on the orbital sander. Awesome Tool
