I purchased the Bosch 3-5/8 in. x 10 TPI plastic-cutting jig saw blades to cut through 1/8″ Plexiglas panels. The blades worked as expected no tear out, splintering or cracks, they are perfect for the job.

I used this blade to cut through 5/8″ G10 Board (a very dense fiberglass board) and it was able to work through the material with ease.

I bought these for making curved cuts in acrylic and polycarbonate sheets. They work well, once you adjust your saw speed and move at a constant pace. I would like to note that this works best for acrylic which is at least 1/8″ in diameter. When I tried to cut a piece of 1/16″ (0.093″) acrylic, it chipped and cracked the panel. Polycarbonate doesn’t shatter, so you should be good for almost all thicknesses. When used correctly, these blades make very clean cuts with no chipping at all. The edges look as though they were laser cut! I was a bit skeptical, but they work well for what they are designed for. Not too expensive, either. Good job, Bosch.

This blade worked just fine for accomplishing my purposes. What doesn’t work fine is your program for commenting on your various products. I NEVER am ableto send a review on the first attempt. First there’s “you forgot something” or “you left something out”.Then there’s “OOPS” because I must have done something else wrong. I have tired of fighting withthese and wasting my time. Please stop.

This item fits well in the jig saw, cutting plastic laminates was easy. Must mark and cut before peeling and removing laminate protective cover.

The blades are described for cutting Plexiglas, but I was cutting HPDE plastic about 1/2 inch thick. They blades performed beautifully and the edge required very little finishing.

I made a windbreak for my wife’s Miata from a 1/4″ thick sheet of Lexan. This was my first time cutting sheet plastic and had planned to put a trim on the edges to hide expected rough, imperfect cuts. However, when completed, I was impressed by the exceptionally fine finish of the edges and found it unnecessary to sand or hide them. I used only one blade to cut straight lines, quarter radiuses and diminishing curves — the latter two cuts were free-hand! The Bosch blade gave me good cutting control: I used the jigsaw’s high speed setting without causing the Lexan to melt. My first-timer’s confidence soared. An automotive hardware specialist saw the finished edges and said he thought the windbreak was made from glass – until he touched it. These blades are precision tools and can only imagine what they do in more capable hands.
