Use this Diamond-Grit Jigsaw Blade from Bosch to make clean, smooth cuts in slate, limestone, marble, backerboard, glass, Grade 5 porcelain and granite, among other masonry materials. Operating the saw at a moderate speed and keeping the 3-1/4 in. blade cool with water, it is capable of producing straight and rounded edges in a variety of stonework to make way for plumbing hookups and electrical connections. Vacuum brazing technology allows this instrument to withstand rugged applications while keeping the diamond-grit blade edge intact.
- Designed for cutting porcelain, granite, limestone, slate and ceramic tile in addition to glass and cement backerboard
- Diamond grit provides more strength and durability than carbide grit jigsaw blades
- Vacuum brazing keeps diamond grit firmly adhered to the blade to withstand rugged applications
- Use with water to cool blade and minimize dust

Cuts through 1/2″ hardie backer like a hot knife through butter with minimal dust and excellent accuracy. I can’t speak to how this blade cuts or holds up against hard tile or stone as I didn’t buy it for that purpose, but for cement board it is a dream come true. Been looking for something this good to cut hardie and happy I found it.

This blade cut ceramic tile easily, seriously like a warm knife through butter. I was able to make rounded cuts and notches with ease. Well worth the price.

Purchase this blade instead of the cheaper blade. This will last longer and give you cleaner cuts.

The diamond grit T-shank Jig Saw Blade is perfect for siding as well, i needed a blade that would cut hardie, and this one did the trick

It worked well and cut a very fine line. It is not able to cut circles smaller than 5″ diameter well without binding or chipping the tile a little.

Bought this blade for cutting 1/4″ cement backer board. It works great. The blade is expensive so I am always careful so that I don’t break it but it has held up well. I have made quite a few cuts and the blade remains sharp. It is sold as a suitable for cutting tile but I have not used it for that purpose.

This jigsaw blade worked well on a quartz coutertop. It was slow going but the blade worked.

I used the blade to cut ceramic floor tile. Water was used during the cut to clean and lubricate. The blade did not overheat and made excellent cuts.

Worked well on porcelain.

First cut was nice and clean, then halfway through my second cut and using same applied pressure, blade shaft snapped at the neck. Having used much less expensive blades in the past with no problem, I was greatly disappointed with the strenght.

We are remodeling our guest bathroom and I bought this blade to make some difficult cuts in cement tile backer board. The blade made clean cuts very quickly and was a lot less expensive than a cement blade for a circular saw. Plus, I could make the round cuts for the small holes for the pipes and water valve. It worked so well that I started using it to make long straight cuts over the “score and snap” method. However, cutting with this blade created more dust than the snap and score method so I strongly suggest using a mask and maybe some sort of dust collection. It lasted through out my project without losing any performance.

I used this blade to cut a 4′ piece of 3/4″ thick slate on a pool table. The blade cut very slowly but worked really well. I used a water bottle to keep the blade wet and it cut a couple feet. I used a two blades but it never shattered the slate at the cutting. Take your time, keep the blade cool, and you’ll be happy with the result.

works well on fiberglass panel with little wear to blade

I bought this blade on recommendation from SKIL, who also own Bosch, for a DIY tiling job. It worked well enough on the Hardibacker cement board, but did not touch my porcelain tile (new blade), even though it’s rated for “hard tile”.
