The Bosch VAC090AH 9 Gal. Dust Extractor with Auto Filter Clean and HEPA Filter provides a complete package that is designed to help users move toward compliance with the OSHA silica dust regulation. The dust extractor delivers a maximum 150 cu. ft. of air-per-minute rate (CFM), with a sustainable 97 in. static water lift (maximum). The automatic on-board filter-cleaning system activates every 15-seconds to help maintain maximum suction power. The included HEPA filter captures 99.97% of particles at 0.3 microns and larger. The included fleece filter bag helps to protect the filter and provides the optimal containment of dry dust and debris. The dust extractor also has power tool activation that allows the tool to activate the vac and a Power Broker dial to match the suction force to application. Includes HDC200 universal SDS-MAX/SDS-plus dust collection attachment. The HDC200 is a flexible dust collection attachment for SDS-MAX and SDS-Plus Universal hammers for drilling into concrete. It is optimized for drilling diameters from 5/8 in. to 1-3/8 in. but can accommodate up to 2-1/2 in. If the brush ring is removed. The dust port is designed for Bosch 1-3/8 in. vacuum nozzle but can be used with either 1-1/4 in. or 2 in. vacuum nozzles when used with the appropriate adaptor. The system is universal and is designed to connect to a vacuum so that it can be used with any size hammer and can accommodate the full range of drill bit diameters and drilling depth.

This vacuum is a big step up from my ridgid shop vac. This Bosch vac has been worth every penny. I’ve used it on a drywall job, to vacuuming concrete dust when drilling into it, saw dust, and cleaning up the floor. It works perfect in every way. Suction is great even with 16 ft. Hose. Another reason I went with the bosch is, it’s a little more compact than the ridgid. With the ridgid going through small doorways, I would have to take either the hose off or some of the attachments. With the bosch I can leave everything on it. The hose wrapped around it even. The straps that hold the hose on are perfect, the hose will not fall off with the straps on it while moving it. The filter is easy to get to. The top of the unit is easy to take off and put back on with the two side latches. You cannot put it in the wrong spot period.Bags are easy to remove and replace. I have nothing but positive things to say about this vaccum.

The vacuum has performed beautifully. It’s power tool activation mode is very easy to use and helps keep the job site clean. I love the Bosch vac however, I didn’t get the 2 hose holders that snap in and hold the hose securely. Would be an easy 5 stars but for that!

I likle this product because it can be used with any drill and is not specificly engineered to Bosch tools. It even comes with a universal adaptor. I have had it for about a month and it works great with keeping dust out of the air. With the new respirable cristalline silica standard universal dust control tools are great. The only problems I have with this are that it does not clear dust out of the hole very well and it is hard to see your mar with it in place. this can make it difficult to tell if your dill walks a little and your holes can end up off a little.

Great dust collection vac. Hose and cord straps on the sides of the vac are very handy. The filter clean feature is cool but sounds like a very loud pounding. Kinda catches you off guard the first time you use it

This vacuum is unbelievable!! I should’ve bought one years ago. One of the coolest features is the tool hookup on it. It’s hard to justify spending this much on a vacuum, but no buyer remorse here.

IT is comparable to the Festool vac, and the Fein vac however if I could have gotten the part that was needed for the Fein vac, probably would not have purchased The Bosch vac. The Festool vac is pretty much dedicated for a random orbit sander and a router.

Great vacuum. I have used it with Dewalt track saw and miter saw with very good results. Much better than my orange shop vacuum at from the tool dust extraction. Between this and the Rockler dust right hose kit I have all of my power tool dust collection needs met. Really like the HEPA filtration.

Quiet compared to may old shop vacuum and like the features Bosch incorporated in this unit. I have this connected to a small vacuum system in my workroom with a three dust gates. Very happy with the overall performance.Frankie D

money well spent in time and cleanup . If you Know the old 1927 Ash ceiling and the dirt the put out you will spend hours cleaning up.and to boot its was in a Pharmacy in NYC . I had 26 holes to do when i finished it took only 5 min to clean up

I have always had a frustration with the dust produced by a hammer drill. It is messy and unhealthy. My current work required drilling dozens of holes in cement walls in a museum. This Bosch hammer drilling dust extraction device works beautifully. I was surprised at how well it adhered to the wall. We were working with CMU (cement masonry unit) walls with mortar lines, so I did not expect this device to stay in place. It was solid! No dust that I could see escaped into the room, and only residual dust remained on the wall surface when the unit was removed, which I wiped off with a damp cloth. My regular shop vacuum was able to be attached to the dust extractor by shoving it into the shop vacuum hose, which was VERY snug. I think this is not how it is supposed to be attached, but I don’t have the Bosch hose kit that it is probably made for. No instructions came with it. Only immediate improvement? Make from a clear plastic rather than an opaque Bosch colored plastic, because it is not easy to see what you are doing.

My son is a tiling contractor and his old vacuum was just not doing it anymore, so with his birthday coming up, I thought this would be a great gift. He has had the vacuum for awhile now and absolutely loves it. Time will tell how it will stand up to the job handed to it day-in-day-out.
