The ported cabinet design offers deeper low-end performance. The system also features an auxiliary input that allows you to connect other devices. For convenience, there is also a volume control and headphone jack.

Good computers speakers with nice sound throughout full range. If you are looking for heavy vibrating bass or listen very loud, these are probably not for you.

Hard to recommend these for the price. They sound like a subwoofer, sound is really unbalanced. The best thing I can say about them is that it is convenient to be able to connect a computer and an auxiliary device (tv) at the same time. I have Bose products that I am quite happy with. This isn’t one of them.

I bought these speakers earlier this week. I did not know how much I was missing out on when I was either using my computer monitor speakers. I needed some speakers because I was getting tired of listening with headphones while laying in bed. These speakers sound awesome and will continue to by Bose speakers so long as this quality of remains the same or improves. Thanks Bose for making an awesome product that is not terribly expensive.

Great sound and TWO INPUTS!!! Thank you for that!! Thank you! Finding the right cable for this specific need has been a pain (one female input, two male outputs)… I think maybe it doesn’t exist. IDK. Now I don’t need to find that cable – these speakers anticipated my need.

I was very disappointed. I had had the series 2 for ten years until they died. While the mid range and high end are very clear and vibrant, the low end is horrible. The bass sounds like the equivalent of a drum machine as opposed to drums. It’s all flat and muffled. It takes a pretty poor speaker to make Mavis Staples sound bad. These fo that.

For the low price under $ you get a really great sound, you get headphones output and Aux input. You shouldn’t have anything less than the companion 2 for your computer.

These speakers are just what the doctor ordered. They are compact, easy to hook up and in true Bose fashion sound fantastic. Yes you don’t get a huge bass sound without a sub woofer, but for what these are and the price point you should just buy! Speaking of buying B&H is AWESOME!!! I live for the no tax and no shipping costs and everything is in time with tip top service. I buy all things electronic from B & H…even if I do Live in Chicago and have to wait a few days to receive items….totally worth it. Thanks B&H!!!!!
