Soon as I turned them on I knew I’d be sending them back. even a subwofer would not help these little things out.
Jaleel Ferry (verified owner) –
These are the best Bose speakers that $ could ever buy.
Maryse Labadie (verified owner) –
Perfect for its price. Loud and clear.
Sandy Bogan (verified owner) –
Happy with the speakers, the sound is good, easy to set up. Well worth the money.
Dessie DuBuque (verified owner) –
These speakers sound great. Of course, they are not surround sound. But they are a real improvement over the cheap speakers that I have been used to.

I bought these about a year ago. They sounded great with plenty of volume until 2 months ago when the volume started changing on its own. The volume randomly changes without me touching the dial, the problem has gotten progressively worse and now the volume will change to random levels every 10-20 seconds. They are now completely unusable with volume moving from too low to hear to too high to bear. I looked this up online and it seems to be a common problem with these particular speakers.

The speakers are easy to use and do an outstanding job. The best I have used.

They’re very good speakers. I use them for an old shelf stereo system and they put out a lot of oomf in sound. I like that they have a turn-off knob. The series 2 did not.
Maggie Stanton (verified owner) –
They work great and sound great. For $99 what else do you need?

I researched this and it performs as expected. I am pleased with the output.

It is a breeze to connect to the PC. The sound quality is crisp, clear and perfect for a PC environment.

This is an affordable solution for decent sound for a desktop computer. They are compact with enough bass to make listening to music realistic. Not so thumping that it will disturb the next cubicle. You know Bose has good sound. These plug right into the line out port. Handy volume control knob on the front of right speaker. Light weight boxes with good stereo separation.

Highs are just ok, mids are way to warm for my taste. Very little bass. Very disappointed with Bose on this product. I will be returning these and sticking with my Logitech Z series. I tried to like them…. I really did.

Not sure how to remove old reviews, but I was having a tough time trying to figure out why voices sounded like they were coming from a tunnel. The problem turned out to be due to my cable being in too far into the back of the speaker. For some reason when pushed in too much, it cuts out the left channel and makes both channels right. Part of the reason for that is I had to use my own cable because the one supplied is way too short. After all was working, it sounded pretty good.
Alena Schneider (verified owner) –
These speakers sound OK but given the ratings in the market and the reputation that Bose has for getting a lot out of tiny speakers, I expected more. B&H was great but Bose did not deliver on expectations.
Jazmin Price (verified owner) –
These speakers are the bee’s knees. I would compare them to a NYC slice of pizza they’re that good.
Esmeralda Hahn (verified owner) –
Very disappointing- especially being a BOSE product. Returned after 2 days.
Julian Zieme (verified owner) –
Super easy to cable up. Very good sound. Detail, depth, crispiness, nice and round. Compact size. If I wanted to change anything, I’d make the audio cable longer.

I needed a computer speaker that doesn’t cost more than $100 but reliable and has a good bass sound. This is a really nice budget computer speaker to monitor video sound.

Smooth clear audio. works great for my desktop computer, listening to music while I work, or watching a movie to relax.
