I started to notice the volume change randomly every time more frequently by itself, I’m disappointment of this product. I expected a better quality.

nice deep and clear bass for small speaker. it’s not very loud but it gave decent found field.

Unfortunately, although I prefer giving positive reviews, I have to jump aboard with the other negative reviewers. These really aren’t worth the effort of writing a lengthy, detailed review. They simply do not produce the volume we expected. We certainly expected them to be an upgrade from our 10-11 year-old Creative Labs Inspire T3000 speakers but, sadly and shockingly, we consider them a downgrade by comparison. The highs, lows and base are so-so, again, definitely not an improvement from the much less expensive Creative Labs speakers, and when compared to our ancient Inspire T3000s simply no volume, even for our small office. In fact, we are sincerely considering reinstalling our Inspire T3000s, despite a faulty connection, selling these on one of the auction sites (dreaded…ugh!), since it’s too late to return these to B&H, and investing substantially more in higher end speakers (through B&H). Guess we must’ve been influenced by the well-meaning, favorable reviews as well as swayed by the Bose reputation for producing big sound with little boxes. Not so with these.

I had a pair of 15 year old Bose Companion Series II Speakers that I was never quite happy with. I decided I wanted to finally get new speakers but at the moment, money is tight. I did a lot of research and found several reviews that mentioned that Bose had made improvements to the Companion 2 Series III speakers. So deciding to take a gamble, I bought these, and I’m now very glad I did! I was struck by how significantly better these speakers sound. Crisp sound, music soared from these speakers in a way the Series II speakers had not. It was like night and day difference. In my opinion, these are among the best speakers at this price point you can buy.

The first pair gives me great sound from my computer. The second is plugged into an Airport Express used to stream iTunes from my computer in the study to my kitchen. I think they produce excellent sound for the size and price.

Excellent sound quality

A nice set of computer speakers. I would give it 5 stars, but it would be nice to be able to defeat the digital signal processing if desired and having the aux in on the front instead of the back. Overall, I’m happy with these speakers.

I purchased these speakers to compliment the sound on a projector purchased from B&H – They were perfect for the job!! I now use them with my computer to listen to my playlists. They are handsome, just small enough with great sound. A great product (MUST HAVE) for your computer… And etc, etc….

Nice set of speakers. Clear sound and range. Yes, the included AUX cable is a bit short as others have mentioned, but since it is not integrated into the speaker, it is easily addressed by just getting a longer cable.

I have gone through numerous speakers for my computer and always ended up with poor quality sound. I love to hear my music as I work and these speakers are it! The sound is great and not very expensive as well. You can never go wrong with Bose.

Great sounding speakers, but I don’t care for the slanted top, I’d prefer a flat top. Also, I wish it had a on/off LED light. The electrical plug-in has a loose fit and will fall out of an adaptor.

I use these speakers in my editing suite. I replaced them with a different set of desktop speakers that just weren’t living up to my standards anymore. These speakers provide a very well balanced low, mid and high range sound just as I expected from Bose. Perfect for editing videos, watching movies, or jamming to music. They were easy to setup on my Mac. The only thing I wished they had was a power indicator light so you know if the speakers are ON or OFF. The bass on them are perfect and not overpowered but there’s enough to almost give you a theater like impression.

I have aways known about these speakers for year but today I got tem for my Macbook Pro 2016 Touchbar setup and I must say. I do love them.

These speakers are just awesome. The price was incredible and I am extremely happy with them. BOSE has done it again and for people on a budget.

I have had Bose speakers in my truck for 17 years, they still sound as good as day one, so of course I’m going to try these out. They are great. Easy enough to install, great sound, right size, seem durable enough to last for awhile, and you can’t beat the price. We’ve gone through a lot of different speakers the sound doesn’t compare. Very happy with the purchase!

We all know the Bose name but rarely do we associate this with desktop computer speakers. These two speakers, for a very affordable price, will literally shock you into submission. Transforming your music listening, gaming, and video entertainment into a realm that is astonishingly authentic to its source. For any music aficionado on a budget this product is a must have. Bose is my lifetime choice for crystal clear music and sound. Enjoy!

I have other Bose products like radios and sound bars for TV. so I knew I would not go wrong with these small but mighty set of speakers. I have them hooked up to my desk top, and while sound online is sometimes an issue, the Bose companion 2 Series speaker system works well and helps make listing online a better experience.

This is what Bose sounds like? This is garbage. These speakers are a Ben Franklin and I’ve heard better sounds out of those el-cheapo speakers that used to come with the tower computers people bought in the 90’s. It sounds like it’s in a tunnel. It’s not even CLOSE to a 2.1 system. I’ve made a terrible choice. Not only that, the wires are too short so if your PC is in the floor or hidden a little, the wires won’t reach.
