I needed quality speakers that would give me clear audio, particularly for speech (think on-line lectures, etc.) without the need to clutter my office with a separate woofer. Since I have a moderate hearing disability, I was amazed at how well these speakers met my requirements. It was simply a matter of getting the proper settings selected on my desktop computer and using the speakers. After a great deal of internet research and now experience with these speakers, I believe that these represent the best quality available at the price-point at which they sell.

They’re very high quality and have pretty good sound for desktop speakers. I love the volume dial and the 3.5mm jack on the front. They work great for what I use them for (Music, YouTube, movies, etc.) I have also transported them in my suitcase several times and they still work perfectly for over a year.

This is the sound system for my computer and I love to play music while doing other things on the computer.. This little system is a good as the one I have on my other computer and it was much more expensive… I have never been disappointed with a Bose Product…

At $99, these speakers are a good buy and give you clear, crisp, decent sound, even without a strong bass component and without the ability to adjust bass-treble balance. They’re perfect for background listening while working on the computer, but would probably not be great for a dedicated music-listening experience. That said, I’m glad I bought them because background listening is exactly what I use them for.

Usual compliant many people may have for small speakers is the lack of bass. But for this one, the bass is very heavy. Boomy may be another word you could use. The high frequency response is also dull.
