The ported cabinet design offers deeper low-end performance. The system also features an auxiliary input that allows you to connect other devices. For convenience, there is also a volume control and headphone jack.

I find these speakers to do a very great job but I do wish the price point was a little better but you are getting a name brand here so. But yes exceptional speakers not too bass heavy with great clarity I personally find the design better then your standard speakers but could be more artistic. Stays true to what it claims and handles high volumes well.

I purchased these speakers I like the price the sound is great but no volume. I’m 69 years old Healthy eat well exercise all the time. It’s been along time since I bought speakers for my computer I bought the top-of-the-line Apple computer all I wanna do is listen to some music these speakers are pretty easy to set up but no volume. I like all kinds of music Led Zeppelin, Tito Puente. i’m going to try the other ones I want to cost $150 more or I may buy the JBL’s.

Bought this speaker this morning and attached it to the deskTop Computer. Played “El Condo Passa” from YouTube. Wow just blew me off. Fantastic well balanced clear sound at just 1/2 the volume. Would certainly recommend it for as a Computer Stereo Speaker.

Needed decent speakers for watching TV but small enough for crowded night stands. The supplied left-to-right-speaker cable was short by a few inches (and non-standard). Asked a question here and got a response from Bose. Called them and got the extension cable within a few days, FOR FREE (their offer). That’s how you win customers! Compared to TV speakers, my wife says we have cinema sound… Don’t expect the kind of sound you’d get from floor-standing or even bigger bookshelf speakers but, for what they are and what you pay, totally worth it. (For comparison: I asked the same question about extending left-to-right cable for the Creative Labs GigaWorks T40 speaker set. I was going to buy those instead but Creative declined: we do not recommend any sort of extensions of the speakers since it affects the performance of the speaker. This is a proprietary connector and we do not guarantee that any off the shelves extension cables will work. If that’s not stupid, I must be.)

I received the Bose Companion two for a Birthday gift. I love these speakers–perfect for music–movies and talk show radio on my computer. The sound is lush and strong without too much bass. The speakers are perfect for a small room. The sound is relaxing and not overpowering.
