This product works great. You don’t want to leave it unattended. It heats up fast. I like its retro look. I’ve had this hotplate for about two-three weeks. The only caution I would note is the kind of pan used on it. All pans I have except for my small cast iron fry pan could slip off the burners if accidently knocked. So be careful when cooking. I’m not disappointed in this product at all. That Nickname was for a previous item. This item definitely meets my expectations considering all the negative reviews I’ve read about hotplates out there, not necessarily Brentwood brands.

Heats up quickly. Gets hotter than any before. It is very light, so have to use counterbalance if not using both burners it tips.
