My office is one of many that haven’t closed in the light of current events. They have, however, stopped the free flow of coffee. As someone who cannot live without their daily cup of Joe, I had to take quick action. I bought this product not expecting to use it for long. Surely things will get better and the free office coffee will return? The threading for the lid is a little rough but it seals tightly.I brewed my coffee the night before, letting it cool before filling the carafe and sticking it in my fridge. The carafe can fit up to the 8 cup mark on my coffee maker. The next morning I expected cold coffee, as it had chilled to room temp, then had been in my fridge for nearly 12 hours. What I poured out when I got to work was room temp coffee! I imagine if I had filled it up hot and left it on the counter I would have had hot coffee.The mechanism in the lid drives home this product is for liquids only. I once had dreams of filling it with a slush-like brew but I am doubtful the pour spout can handle anything thicker than coffee itself.The stainless steel body is a fingerprint magnet.
