This is the most economical way to filter tap water. I fill my Brita pitcher twice a day. It fits perfectly in my refrigerator. Compared to other water filters the cost per glass of water is pennies.

I pay extra for Brita to recycle- when I tried before the mimimum was 12, now that I have more than 12 the limit has been upped to 5 lbs! If the limit is upped again, I will go back to PC filters as I cane recycle anyway if you keep upping the minimum
