I have been using this pitcher for over a year and no problems with still looking like new and still with light to let me know when to change the filter but I seem to not get a new filter change after a 3 pack because I forget to have it available. Water is much better then from tap or filtered refrigerator. Cold in pitcher like I like it. Bottle water is too heavy to carry home especially up a flight of stairs to my apartment This Brita pitcher was a gift

This is my second Britta Water Pitcher, purchased it in summer 2020 and have had it for about 6 months. The current version seems to be of a flimsy design–the lid doesn’t attach well, the pour spout is not great and it’s easy for water to overflow its sides, and spill beyond the glass or kettle. Would not recommend it for use at the table or by children or anyone in a hurry. The water filtration is still great.

I originally purchased this Brita pitcher about 6 years ago after noticing my 12 year old cat’s behavior was becoming very slow to respond and she was getting almost listless when I had moved from southern California to the central California. She had been fine prior, despite her age. I decided that possibly the water was the cause. I purchased the Brita pitcher and within a day after drinking this water, she perked up as if she was only a year old. Suddenly playful and becoming much more alert to her surroundings. When I saw how she responded to her new drinking water, I also had noticed how sweet the water was in comparison to how the local water had tasted. This works well enough if everyone works to keep it filled. We have a tiny fridge now so we don’t bother using it anymore. It was gross to see what it filtered out though. Maybe when we upgrade our fridge we will go back to it
