This is a value filter. It filters water for a very reasonable price.Nothing fancy here. It gets the job done with minimal cost. However, you do have the constant 3 month replacement. I would have given it more stars (4) if it didn’t have this terrible habit of splashing back at you. I tried to capture it in a photo with no luck. Basically, the handle is a snap between the top filter part (blue) and the bottom reservoir (clear). The handle has a hollow channel between the two. What is strange is if you grab the handle with normal force, water in the reservoir will slosh into this weird hollow handle and come out the bottom, possibly on your floor! This is without overfilling, just with a normal large fill. I don’t like the fact that water can come out like that.Otherwise, the water tastes good after filtering and it does the job.

I can’t believe how much I’m loving this water pitcher. My water smells like bleach coming out of the faucet. Now with the Brita system it tastes like my well water did in the Appalachian mountains

Good design. Convenient size.Plastic is a bit thin, wobbly, but not bad enough to interfere with function.

This Brita was the perfect size and price! If it had been bigger and more money, I would still be drinking luke warm tap water. Thanks Home Depot!

Brita’s Mist Water Filter Pitcher is small enough to fit comfortably in the door of your refrigerator but large enough to hold a day’s supply of clean water. A filter is provided and you are also given a way to remind yourself when it’s time to change filters. I have an older Brita pitcher that feels more substantial, but actually this littler version works just fine. You take off the top and fill the upper container with water, which then feeds through filter into the bottom container. This pitcher is great for one person.

Crystal clear, clean tasting water. This Brita water filter pitcher is a must-have if you live in a rural area like me where well water is your source. Chlorine pellets must be added to the well to prevent bacteria and this removes the taste and smell from it. Also reduces copper, mercury, cadmium, and zinc. The pitcher holds about a half gallon and fits easily on a refrigerator shelf. Water is clean, not metallic tasting. A very good value, and the replacement filters are inexpensive. Brita claims a normally used filter (2 months) will replace 300 standard (16.9oz) bottles. I would highly recommend this filter pitcher if you drink a lot of water.

This is my second Brita water filter jug and I love it even more. Installing the advanced filter that no longer has black carbon flecks is simple and takes no more than a minute. The filter reduces copper, mercury and cadmium contamination and makes the water taste clean and fresh. Just one filter replaces up to 300 water bottles and the plastic is BPA free. The unit has a six cup capacity but is so compact that it fits into a gallon size refrigerator door. Great.

The product came shipped in a larger box with packing to protect it from damage. In the box you get a Britta water filter and pitcher set.The instructions come in many languages but its is easy enough to use.Their are little date stickers you can use so you remember to change the filter in 2 months time. Its construction is not as good as my older Britta water filter, the handle is made in such a way as the top inside filter part is also part of the handle now.And the top does not fit on as well as my older Britta filter unit.they are both pitcher water filters. It also holds less water. So in the end it does work but is not a improvement over the older unit I own.I like it less then my older Britta pitcher water filter unit.
