Our tap water was making our morning coffee taste a little hinky, so we decided to buy a filtered pitcher and the coffee is back to tasting like a good morning brew. We bought the Brita brand because if you want the best and for it to perform better than the off brand, you need to spend a little more. You definitely get what you pay for. Simple instructions with a monthly reader to have optimum usage for each filter (2 months). There is a filter that comes with the pitcher.

This is a different design than a Brita pitcher that I have owned many years ago. It felt kind of flimsy upon assembly but the lightweight should not fool you. It is actually really sturdy and the improved filter design is much better. Being gravity fed, the water does have to seep into the pitcher but the insert has a large enough reservoir to ensure you can. Water tastes great and it is nice to have plenty on hand throughout the day.

This is a 6 8 oz. glasses Mist Water Filter Pitcher in Dark Blue. It’s made by Brita but it feels flimsy when pitcher is full of water.I don’t like the fact that when you need to fill item up you have to remove the entire top and does not allow you an opening in the top that you can fill with water like the larger brands. This is one of their much economical pitchers that I would not recommend because it looks cheaply made and will not last for a long time as when I pick it up when full the handle feels as though it may break.

The pitcher is attractive, well-designed, and solidly built. We bought it to see if it could filter out an unpleasant taste in our tap water, and unfortunately we found that it made only a tiny improvement in the taste. However, we’re keeping it since it is much nicer than the Rubbermaid container that we previously used for storing water in our refrigerator.

Awesome. We tested our water before and after, we knew we had bad water even living in Highlands Ranch. The ppm went down a bit over a 100ppm into the good range. Now drinking only the Brita water. For our dog as well. ❤️
