Keep tap water healthier and tasting better longer with Brita Longlast Pitcher Replacement Filters. Made with pleated filter technology for 3X longer life compared to 40 gallon filters. Longlast replacement filters reduce lead, asbestos, and cadmium impurities that can adversely affect your health over time (substances reduced may not be in all users’ water). I love the longlasting filter because it’s cost effective, I don’t have to remember to change it out each month, and after 5.5 months, my water still tasted good, smelled good, and it was clear.

I bought these in a pack not too long ago. A couple of them worked like a dream and one of the filters don’t work as well. The filtration takes way too long.

My tip to people is if they find their filter is slow don’t wait until its empty before refilling it every time you use it top up your jug and put it back in the fridge that way it’ll mostly stay full for you.

I Bought the 10 cup Brita and only the filter that came with it, just last week. So far, I have filtered about 6 gallons of water and it works fine. I looked through the comments and see that many people seem to wait until there pitcher is out of water, then get frustrated that it takes so long to filter a pitchure of water. The reason I have filtered so much water is because I want to always have filtered water for myself and visitors and FOR my cats. The water we have in this little town we live in, is not very tasty and I don’t like using the bottled water (I leave that for my husband). I always have the brita full, but as I empty it, I will also fill up at least one other gallon bottle with water and rotate my supply. I don’t forsee ever having to worry about how slow the filter works vs having to wait for hours for a glass of clean filtered water. I drink about a gallon of water a day by myself. Since I’m new to to larger brita and the longlast filter, I will have to come back after the first one and let you know what the results are at a later date.

I like the long last filter gives me 120 gallons of use. When you buy the double pack, the Brita brand is cheaper per gallon filtered than the generic brand. More gallons filtered per cartridge equals less plastic used by my family 🙂
