- Instructions: before use, wash water bottle in top rack of dishwasher or by hand with warm soapy water; water bottle filters don’t require soaking; rinse filter under running water for 15 seconds. place new filter into housing and press down firmly until filter is flush with straw; align lid and straw in unlocked position, then rotate straw to lock; replace water filter every 2 months or 40 Gal. Got this bottle to hopefully filter out the flavor from my pretty hard water, and despite being only advertised to manage chlorine taste, it has done amazing at ridding the ‘rotten-egg’ taste. I’ve been using the bottle since the beginning of the year with the expectation that it would solve my new year’s resolution of drinking more water and this bottle has easily done the job and more. In addition to fixing taste, the bottle is very attractive with its simple design, the rubber-type grip is very comfortable to hold for long periods of time, and the opening mechanism is very durable; no signs of any failure any time soon. Fantastic product!

I bought this thinking it would be my go to water bottle. If I like this one. I would buy the pink one. I love pink. It’s my smart watch color. It’s my phone color. But I can’t get it to stop dripping. When the water get to a certain level it’s very hard to take a drink of water. It’s now in the bottom cabinet. I paid a lot of money for it. I have yet to get my money worth out of it.

I enjoy this bottle more so than their old version of it, where it was soft sided. I liked the soft side plastic of the old one, but the cap of the mouth piece would always come loose and get lost. Unfortunately I had to replace the whole bottle since I can’t just buy a cap replacement. It also happened on my 2nd bottle. I was about to give up on Brita’s water bottles but then they came out with this one, with the hard side plastic. What I like the most is the water cap closure.. it’s ATTACHED and covers the entire mouth piece. I wish they did this from the beginning. The only complaint that I had from this bottle was that I had to get a replacement because again, a part of the this bottle needed to replace, but Brita didn’t sell replacement parts. The actual rubber mouthpiece overtime grew black mildew inside overtime as I believe from washing and heat, and with water getting stuck in there. Overall, I still recommend this bottle.
