Brita Premium 26 oz. Coral Filtering Water Bottle works as a great portable water bottle to have filtered water away from home. I do not like city water and am happy to be able to take my Brita filter bottle to work without having to carrying water each day from home. It really lightens my load and allows me to drink more throughout the day. My dislike about this bottle is that a couple places I go frequently have softener water and I can still taste the salt in the water when filling this bottle. The directions are written clearly for use. I show in video and pictures how easy it is to begin use. The filter just needs to be rinsed as directed under running water to initially start using. Easy peasy! Straw is soft and allows for good sized drinks and requires a slight increase in sucking than normal straws to pass the water through the filter straw.

This is a great idea, a compact water bottle with a Brita filter included. We hike regularly and we always take plenty of water and this new bottle gives us an option that has filtering. When we fill our bottles at the trailhead or out of a fountain at a park the water sometimes has a weird taste and this filtered bottle takes care of that. Very happy with the blue color too.

Great for travel – I hate being in hotels and the only option is to purchase disposable plastic water bottles or drink tap water. This plastic bottle filters the water as you drink it. The functionality isn’t ideal, the awkward plastic straw took some getting used to – but it is workable. The benefit of having clean, filtered water available anytime on the go is fantastic!

I have owned several Britta water filters over the years and I love the ones for home use. So when I saw a 26 ounce bottle Britta I thought wow, that would be handy. I can monitor my water intake and have great filtered water without buying a lot of plastic bottles. I like the color, although there are several to choose from. I had a bit of a learning curve but not to install the filter, that was very similar to other Brittas. Ironically, I had to learn how to drink from the bottle. Most drinking bottles you open the top and pour into your mouth. However, the Britta uses a straw-like nozzle that you suck from. A little strange at first, unless you are a straw drinker. I was not, but the filtering comes up the straw and the water is excellent. This is a nice compact filter and should last a month or two easily. It doesn’t leak if you use it correctly, but my first experience left me wet because I didn’t realize there is a small air hole that lets you continuously suck water. Smart, when used properly. It is also easy to clean. I’m very happy with it and will use daily.

I’ve been enjoying using my new Brita Filtering water bottle. It was easy to assemble the carbon filter into the internal plastic straw and attach the plastic straw/carbon filter to the bottom of the bottle lid. I like the spring-loaded bottle closing cap which pops open with a push of a button. This is a handy feature when staying hydrated during a car trip.It is easy to taste the difference of the water with the chlorine removed. I like to fill my bottle half full of ice along with the water. With ice, the water tastes like it is coming from a clear mountain stream. I would recommend the Brita water filtering bottle to anyone one who wants to improve the taste of their water.

Used this on my trip to Bali and it worked great. Like that it’s 26oz and has a flip top. Easy to carry.

I received the Brita water purifying cup from Home Depot to test and it seems to work great. I gave it to my son who has a landscaping business and doesn’t always have access to drinking water. He can just take water from a garden hose and pure water to drink while on the job. It seems quite sturdy and very easy to use. I think it would be great to have camping or any outdoor activity.

The water bottle that I received is a very pretty transparent orange color. It has a flexible loop at the top so it’s easy to carry. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. A filter is included and will last 2 months. The bottle holds 28 ounces (3.5 cups) of water. Do NOT use hot water in the bottle. There is no odd taste, even the first time. The lid screws on and the cap snaps securely into place. In order to open the cap, you have to press a tab so there’s no accidentally opening it. You suck on the straw; the water doesn’t pour out. Do NOT tip the bottle completely upside down as there’s an air hole to facilitate exchange of air/water and it will drip on you if held completely veritical. The bottle all by itself weighs just under 8 ounces. The entire bottle (except the filter, of course) is top rack dishwasher safe. The only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to suck fairly strongly to get the water up and through the straw.

The Brita Premium 26 oz. Night Sky Filtering Water Bottle has a sleek design and is easy to clean. The water bottle comes with its own filter. The water bottle also comes assembled but can be disassembled into 3 parts for easy cleaning. The filter is interchangeable and comes out easily when it needs cleaning. The water bottle has a rubber spout at the top to drink water from, and it has a max fill level so you don’t over fill your water bottle and cause it to spill. It has a locking cap that covers the rubber drinking spout. The cap has a handle attached to it so it can be carried or tied to a backpack. The water bottle comes with instructions on when to change the filters and specifies it’s dishwasher safe.

One of the best gift for anyone in Houston for summer is this amazing water bottle. After a long hot day, nothing is better than a long sip of filtered water from Brita water bottle. It is convenient to carry, in lunch bags or back packs to work or school. It can also be used while exercising. The Brita water bottle makes it extremely easy to drink water when thirsty. I am happy with the acquisition and completely recommend it.

We have a Brita filtering pitcher, and it’s worked very well for us, so I took the opportunity to check out the premium filtering water bottle. The bottle has a built-in straw, and the filter fits into that, so you can’t use it like a pitcher (fill it and then pour the filtered water back out). The water filters as it is drawn back up through the straw. The filter can handle up to 40 gallons of water before requiring replacement. The assembly (except, of course, the filter) is top-rack rated for dishwashers. I prefer to wash the unit by hand and air dry between uses. YMMV.There’s a spring loaded flip top to cover the straw, which is nice because you can grab a quick drink using only one hand.I’ve tried the bottle in every-which position, and it hasn’t leaked. It’s cup holder friendly in my 4×4, and there’s a swivel handle on the top of the bottle for carrying. I make the base to be about 2 7/8”; if your cup holder is smaller than that you may want to check the specs. It’s a bottle, not a ‘thermos’, so water doesn’t stay cold in warm temperatures. It’s also not rated for adding flavoring to the water – it’s for water only. Ice can be added and won’t damage the filter. I haven’t tried adding a lemon slice to the water, but I suspect that the lemon particles would do no favors for the filter. The filter is for removing the taste of chlorine and small particles from tap water (greater than 50 microns in size; I looked that part up). It’s not designed for removing bacteria or microbes or filtering non-potable water. You can’t use it like you would iodine or Halazone tablets in a canteen. In use, it performs that function quite well – the water coming up through the straw is as fresh tasting as the water we get from our Brita pitcher. One issue – and the reason for the 4 star review instead of a 5 – is that the straw is hard to drink out of. It requires more suction than I think it should (YMMV). It’s not impossible to draw the water, but it definitely requires a noticeable effort. I expect a bit of resistance but had not expected this much. You can’t get a quick ‘gulp’ of water, it has to be drawn up slower than gulping. Brita lists it as “easy-sip” but for me it’s “hard-draw”. Of course this will vary from person to person but it’s the one drawback I’ve found with the Brita. That being said, the beauty of the Brita bottle is that it replaces a bunch load of plastic water bottles (Brita claims 300 of the 16.9oz bottles) and that’s good for the environment and for my back – loading cases of full water bottles into my 4×4 is not my favorite thing to do. HTHRegards,Jim

bought 5 of these water bottles. 4 of them are working out great but 1 the mouth piece has completely molded. They get washed regularly so I don’t understand what has happened with this one water bottle.

The filter needs to be washed thoroughly before using. If it is not you will get a slightly nasty taste in your mouth along with what looks like charcoal particles. Other than that, this is some of the best filtered water I have ever tasted. Very refreshing and thirst quenching. I’m going to grab another one for my wife but I’m going to make sure that I rinse of the filter before installation.

I think I finally found a water bottle that I’ll keep for a while. Several of my work locations have water fountains with bad tasting water. This little filter takes the bad taste out as far as I can tell. I like that I am not throwing empty water bottles into the trash. It is sleek, fits into my cup holder and durable. Even my kids call it “aesthetic”.

So nice to have a filter as you go water bottle! In our location, with well water, without filtering there is a slight taste/smell in tap water due to organic material deep underground. Any charcoal based filter will make a dramatic difference and give you great tasting water. This Brita Premium 26-ounce bottle is convenient. It comes with a drop-in charcoal filter which is so easy to install and replace.Replacements are readily available. All parts of the bottle are dishwasher safe on the upper rack. This bottle easily removed the off-taste from our water. Depending upon the severity of tastes and odors in your unfiltered water, this bottle should make a tremendous improvement and also help in systems that have a chlorine taste/smell.The bottle does not leak. The top easily flips open, and the built-in straw is convenient. It comes in several different colors and it also fits easily in cup holders in cars and trucks.

This is a great size bottle to take on errands or trips. It was very easy to clean the first time and make it ready for water. I didn’t notice a difference in the taste of the water as I have well water and happen to like it. It did take me a couple times to get used to the straw concept, blame my age. My children thought that was funny. It feels solid and I did drop it on the floor and it did not break.

This is a nice water bottle, and I like the idea of filtering what I can when I’m on the go. The water bottle is pretty big. It’s not something to be tucked away discreetly. However, It has a nice carrying handle that makes it easier. It’s made of a hard plastic. While I’m not testing the durability, it’s about what you would expect in a plastic water bottle. It could break with the right fall, but it’s strong enough to handle bumps along the way. The directions say that the filter needs to be replaced every two months, so that’s something to keep in mind as well. Also, in order for the filter to work, you need to use the straw. It filters the water as you drink. Overall, nice water bottle.

The Brita bottle is convenient, easy to hold in my hand and the filter makes the water taste great. This is one of the Best Buy’s I’ve made all year, I should have purchased it sooner.
