Overall it is a nice water bottle. I just find all these bottles expensive for what you really get. The packaging is nice and compact. It contains the water bottle assembled, a single filter and the information guide/manual. The filter is in a sealed bag. The bottle is a comfortable size. It may be available and additional colors. This is a light blue. The lid fits on tightly and nicely engineered. It seems almost impossible for it to leak. The button that releases the catch to open the lid is flush with the bottle. It opens easily yet the button is hidden enough that it will not open accidentally except maybe under optimum conditions. Water tastes like bottled spring water. Always look up any replacement parts to determine ongoing costs. Compared to some bottle replacement filters these are really reasonable. They a compact and a simpler design that some. The carrying strap seems rugged and durable. It has catches when rotating it and seems to lock in place when opening the lid so it doesn’t get in the way when drinking from the bottle. Disassembling the bottle for cleaning and reassembling is easy. The instructions indicate plastic bottles are dishwasher safe. Of course, do not wash the filter in the dishwasher. Filter life according to the instructions is 2 months. Not sure if you don’t use the bottle for a while if the filter should still be replaced every two months or after filtering so many gallons of water. Nice bottle.

This filter works really great! The only “problem” I have had so far is that I did not rinse out the filter thoroughly enough the first time before using it. I did have a little bit of an off taste for two sips, and then the water was perfect. This is a really handy item if you have water that is a little funky, but don’t feel like spending lots of money and time running to the store for bottled water. I like the top has a nice closing lid to keep the drinking area clean!

Big plus to having clean water wherever and whenever you need. I really like that the Brita Filtering Water Bottle and filters are BPA free. BPA (bisphenol A) is a chemical that is added to many commercial products, including food containers and hygiene products and is something we can all do without. The second big advantage is each filter can replace up to 300 16.9 ounce bottles of water. The bottle has a built in straw and a leak proof top. The only reason I pulled one star was because they say that this premium water bottle filters as you drink, reducing Chlorine (taste & odor) found in tap water. But my question is what about the contaminants found in water and what kind of contaminants does it filter.

I chose the Brita Premium 26 oz. Sapphire Filtering Water Bottle for my daughter. She is a high school varsity basketball player who absolutely needs to keep hydrated. So, when I saw this Brita brand water bottle that also filters the water, I grabbed it. Needless to say, the water that is available to her at practice comes directly from old pipes, that I can’t help but think effect the taste of the water. However, with the Brita Premium 26 oz. Sapphire Filtering Water Bottle, the water tastes great. As a result, I think she will drink more. So, if you are in the market for a great water bottle, I highly suggest this one. It’s worth the extra price.

Great water bottle! Easy to set up and use (comes with 1 filter). I have pretty good tap water to begin with so I haven’t noticed a huge difference in the taste, but the filter does provide peace of mind. The cap is leak-proof and I haven’t had any leaks yet. It requires a little more suction than I’m used to and feels weird at first. I was used to a Camelback bottle where you have to “bite” the spout to release the water. This bottle doesn’t have that kind of spout. Sometimes I feel like I’m sucking more air with the Brita bottle. It takes more suction to get the flow of water going. Other than that, I’ve been very happy with the bottle so far. The loop on the top makes it easy to carry with one finger when you have your hands full. It’s made of nice, hard plastic and has been easy to hand wash insuring that it lasts a long time.

This is a nice water bottle I like to keep at the office. Sometime’s our water bottle guy doesn’t arrive until later in the day when we’ve run out of water, but with this i can just fill it up at the sink and the water tastes the same as the bottled stuff. My only complaint is that the bottle doesn’t really stay cold. It would have been better if it was an insulated bottle.

Great for travel – I hate being in hotels and the only option is to purchase disposable plastic water bottles or drink tap water. This plastic bottle filters the water as you drink it. The functionality isn’t ideal, the awkward plastic straw took some getting used to – but it is workable. The benefit of having clean, filtered water available anytime on the go is fantastic!

Perfect replacement water bottle for our badly dented and well worn aluminum water bottle. What makes this a perfect replacement bottle is the fact you can actually see how much remaining contents are in the bottle before taking off for a run. Built in carrying ring, built-in straw, but more importantly easy to draw water then ease of snapping the cap back on. Given reasonable care this Brita water bottle will remain durable for years and years. Thank you Brita and Home Depot!

From the time I opened the package and took the bottle out, I really it. Although, I missed the instruction of rinsing the filter well. Couple things which stand out; – the cap that swings open at a touch- the water tastes good (may be paraphrasing, but i think it better than regular tap water)- easy to draw through the straw. A bit of inconvenience, when you fill up the bottle, the water would pour out, if the straw is not drained out before. I guess because of the filling mechanism and the top lid doesn’t stop the inlet water in the straw.

A Very Nice Water bottle! I used this water bottle a couple of times before my wife took it from me. She loves it and I enjoy it as well. We enjoy the fact that it comes with its own water filter. We love that we can take one more extra precaution with our drinking water without compromising the taste. Its a lot easier to fill it up anywhere and feel at ease that our drinking water is being filtered. the bottle is easy to drink from. It is leak free and dish washer safe. There is no problem assembling and disassembling the bottle to clean it. My wife likes the fact that the drinking straw is always covered when not being used which helps keep it clean and free of dust. Five stars all the way for Brita for this one.

I really like this brita water bottle. The color makes you think of water. The top has a small handle for you to carry the bottle. It doesn’t sweat a ton. The push the button and the top opens for you to start drinking. The drinking area is a soft rubber nipple looking. You can hold it upside down and won’t lose a lot of water. Sucking it is the only way to get water. Easy to refill and the charcoal stick is easy to install also. I drank water with lipstick and it’s kinda still on the spout portion. Not sure what type of rubber it is but it doesn’t like lipstick.

I got this for me and used it all of once before the wife claimed it as her own so I had to get another. I frequently work in areas where water quality isn’t the greatest but safe to drink. I usually carry a gallon from home but there are days I forget or something comes up that I can’t easily cart water wherever I’m going. With this whether I get my water from a spigot on a jobsite or the tap at home I at least know it has been filtered.

Well-designed, dishwasher-safe 26 oz. BPA-free filter bottle with some thoughtful features, like a spring-hinge lid that opens with one hand, flexible carry strap, built-in straw, and truly leak-proof top (mine sat on its side all day, didn’t spill a drop). Uses an inexpensive and easily replaced carbon filter to remove chlorine taste and Class VI impurities (basically particulates that might be in tap water). Not what you’re looking for if you’re expecting to purify contaminated water, but perfect if you’d just like to save some money by drinking tap water without the nasty taste. Only one very minor nitpick — the intake tube can retain water, so be careful that it doesn’t download on you when you pull it out to refill the bottle. Otherwise, definitely recommended.
