Ever since covid-19 the water department has been adding tons of chemicals to keep our water safe from the virus. The downside to this is our skin and hair has taken a huge beating from all of these destructive chemicals until the Brita showerhead. Not only has our skin gotten better but it doesn’t take nearly as much soap to get a ton of lather. If you do not have a filtration system for your entire house then be sure to wash in water that has been filtered through the Brita showerhead.

This is a very basic shower filter. They don’t overstate the product, they describe it as level 1 filtration, at the rate the water comes out of the shower it’s obvious any filter wouldn’t be filtering all too well though. I liked how I saw the KDF on one side of the filter when removing the sticker, this seems to be a quality filter. The product is certified by whatever NSF and ANSI standards so I feel better using it. I bought a bunch of these for my whole family because I approve of the product, and it’s a great value buy.Oh yea the filters are small, but I actually prefer this myself. A larger filter with looong time use claims, could actually backfire on you if it grows germs inside it, so a compact filter with higher maintenance is preferable personally. The filters are 10 dollars to replace I believe, which is reasonable.

This feels like it has nuetralized the chlorine in our water but be aware that the fastening but on the shower head is plastic and even with the 1/4 turn the instructions say to do it will inevitably crack.
