The filter seems to be working as designed. Took a sample of water to a local testing facility for a bacteria and a total suspended solids (TSS) test. The TSS came up “clear”. Very happy with those results. Washed our car and just let the water air dry off window, and it came out pretty clear. Not perfect, but I’m very happy considering we are on a well.

Would like a longer lasting filter than having to change fiter cartridge every 3 months. All in all. The cartridge does the job well for removing sand,clay, and filers out anything that is pumped from the well water. Glad i got a water softener from my home. Ron C.

I have used this heavy duty GAC cartridge as a secondary filter and it features protection for your systems and appliances. It reduces chlorine, silt, rust and sediment. You will also notice the improved taste and reduction in odor in your water.. It’s compatible with most standard size water filter systems.Reduces sediment and with a 10,000 Gal. /6 month filter life it should offer most home owners reasonable service between changes. It does a very good job of filtering your incoming water.
