The DR-510 Drum Cartridge is an original component replacement for Brother laser printers. A drum cartridge contains a photoreceptor drum, providing a surface to which the toner adheres before being transfered to the paper. Yield is approximately 20,000 pages.

Happy to have this drum unit after trying several recycled ones which were duds and left unwanted marks on every page. One small thing is for some reason the printer hasn’t reset so it still says Change Drum Soon but everything we print is clear and clean so we are happy. Of course it’s only been a couple weeks since we got it, but to date it’s been great.

My Brother printer indicated need of a new drum soon. I did not want to be without the printer so I ordered from B&H with the intent of having the item when the drum had to be replaced. I have not yet had to do so. BUT, the drum unit arrived … and at a price that was quite competitive.

Most other places do not carry this replacement part for my MFP…I was so thrilled to find the Brother replacement drum. I am very happy to have purchased this.

I tried to order an OEM Brother Drum from a competitor of BH. Although they advertised the product as genuine with a similar box and said new, it was not a genuine brother one. Others I know have tried the cheaper refurbished or clone expendables and all had a loss of printing quality. In one case the toner started to leak out where the toner and drum connect. It just about destroyed the printer and all further copies had streaks and blobs on it. B&H has always provided me with quality product at a fair price. Service is great and I receive most orders place received in western ma within a day or two with free shipping. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the price is still extremely high. I know this is not B&H’s fault, but re-sellers need to pressure companies like brother to provide replenishables at a reasonable price.
