Very good black color, consistent. The letters do not smear on the paper, it is very even tone on the large surface of halftone. I am in the graphic design field and love the genuine brother quality. I recommend everyone to stay with genuine brother. The original toner cartridge that come with Brother laser machine has short life, but these replacement cartridge lasts on and on and on with good quality printing…many 500 reams of paper so far. I am very happy. I will buy it again !

The unit I bought was a genuine brother oem unit and it was easy to install & begin using. However, this unit did not last long at all. I bought it in April, installed it in late April/early May and by late July vertical lines were appearing on the my printed pages. I bought the printer in spring of 2011 and the original drum lasted 6 years with more printing than I did between April and July of 2017. Right now, my printer is not telling me to replace the drum unit but brother support tells me that, if I cleaned the corona wire, glass inside the printer and other parts, & I still have vertical lines on my printed pages then I need a new drum B&H is great with shipping, service & prices so I don’t blame B&H at all for this problem. I fear, however, that, although brother oem drums are far better than the compatible drums, brother still produces a few defective drums. Overall, I’m satisfied with brother printers but no printers are cheap. Replacing a drum twice in a year cost me more than 1/2 the price of a new comparable printer so I’m not happy with the situation.

The Brother DR620 unit worked well and was delivered quickly.

DR620 is the same, wherever you buy it from. But BH had it for the best price, and as always, the service was stellar. Long time client.

What can I say? We get the expected 25,000 pages out of a DR620 drum unit. They always work. It is not worth the savings to use a non-OEM Brother unit. I had nothing but trouble with these.

I bought my brother printer 4 years ago. I use it for my small business and it gets a LOT of use. I have only had to replace the drum once.

A little pricey for a maintenance item, but if it’s required, it’s required.

This replacement drum was easy to install and we had it running in minutes. Printouts look like new again. A bit more costly than a knock-off but not worth saving a few bucks with after market parts on a business machine.
