Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

Everything was easy setting up. Printing with Airprint from Macs and iPhones is so much easier than Windows so far which requires almost a gig of programs installed. Printing with either is doable. Dedicated ID scanning made short work of an otherwise annoying task. My biggest problem was my router needed a reboot for an unrelated reason and I thought it was like it was the printer for a moment. Otherwise it’s be rock solid.

I love my Brother. I’ve had this printer for about 6 months. Easy set up on Windows 10. Great quality print and the scanner and copy features work well. I print from my laptop, phone and iPad without any issues. Great price too. I had an old model Brother Laser which is at least 10 years old and it still works great. This is why I decided to buy Brother again with the additional scan and copy features.

I purchased this printer because of the large amount of paper it can hold. I got tired of having to put more paper in the drawer half way thru printing something. One thing I did not realize was there was no way to copy multiple pages, so as a printer it’s great but as a copier you have to copy one page at a time.

I really like my New Brother laser printer. I have not yet had time to figure out all the functions like two sided printing. The only thing I would change is the cover you lift to copy with. It has to go all the way up and back before it will hold itself. I wwould like to see it maybe have some way to only go three quarters of the way up and hold, but that is due to where I have it in my computer room. Would buy again.
