Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

The printer itself is excellent in every way. The only problem I had was that the driver provided by Brother would not install on Mac computers running any version of an operating system below 10.7 (this fact was not mentioned on Amazon, where I bought the printer). I had to search the web for an acceptable driver and eventually found a PD driver on Gutenprint. Except for my driver problem I’ve found the printer to be superb.

I have 2 work places I use this printer. Love all the features especially the wireless allowing me to print from any device. The 2-sided printing saves on paper. Only problem I am having is on my laptop that it will not find correct printer because both have same name. There has to be a fix, so still trying to resolve or would have given it 5 stars.

This is my first laser printer as it was becoming a pain with inkjets printers drying out before the suggested quota of pages able to print. Except for the wireless setup … it worked fine with my previous WIFI network, but when I switched providers it was intermittent. Technical support helped as best they could, but I’m not well versed in tinkering with my WIFI, so for the amount I print I’ll use the cable.

Been using the printer for two months now with no issues. We do not use wireless. Installation instructions not the best. (We did not grow up in the computer age.) Also no detailed user’s manual. Knew that it would not print color when purchased. Very quiet and quick. Two-sided feature unique.

Nice product. Love how it does duble sides copy. I love that I can print anywhere with this. The reason for the 4.5 stars is that I think it should have lip where the paper comes out to easily grab. Currently, you have to reach in a tiny bit to get the paper but other than that it is s super printer.

I love this wireless B&W printer. I never have trouble with it. It produces sharp, clean prints. I am SO happy that I switched from my old inkjet printer to a laser printer. In the long run, I am saving money on ink (by using toner) and don’t have the hassle of ink cartridges drying up and gumming up the printer heads. I wish I had switched to a laser printer years ago! This BROTHER HL-L2390DW is awesome and the price was right, too!

Basically the same as my DN7065 but without the Doc feeder. Prints well enough and speed is sufficient for a home printer. Biggest problem is the new toner cartridge is MORE expensive than TN 420/450 of the old printer.
