Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

I bought this as a replacement for a Samsung laser printer that was just eating toner. Brother is much better. Scanner is better than my flat bed Canon because it warms up virtually instantly. Feature I didn’t know about was OCR, which it does very well, even with reversed type (white on a color background). All in all, an excellent value.

I’ve used HP inkjet printers for years and over time the quality of their products has gone downhill, especially their ink cartridges. Unless you use it every day, the cartridges will dry up fairly quickly, causing streaks and horrible printing. This Brother machine is my first laser printer, and so far, it’s been perfect. Everything works as expected, and the print quality has been flawless. And the best part is I no longer have to worry about ink cartridges going bad.

First time using Brother laser printer. I love the easy set up, features and crisp clear print. Love the job it does! One thing I wish was easier is using manual feed print (envelopes). The back has to be opened and front manual feed and the print comes from back of printer. Have to make sure back of printer is easily accessible. No biggie. Just have to rearrange placement of printer. Otherwise it’s a very fine product! I do love it.
