Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

This printer is so fast and easy to work and I love that it goes so long without need to replace toner!

I’m a writer so I run through a lot of paper. I wanted a great blackand white printer for everyday use. I’ve got it in the HL-L2390DW. Did the set-up for the unit very quickly.

I got this printer after (sadly) retiring a 10-year old brother MFC printer. I have never been let down with brother until I bought this one. Within the 12 month warranty, it refused to power up. I received a refurbished model shipped free with no questions asked. For that, I would give Brother customer support 5 stars. I give this printer only 4 stars because I expected at least 5 years with absolutely no problems. I got less than a year. I’ve got 2 months on the replacement, and I hope it will exceed my expectations. Other than than, it’s a great quality, fast printer. My children all love the airprint feature.

Good reliable monochrome combo unit. Does auto both-sides printing (can do single-side), has worked with my Mac (MacOS “Catalina” and two prior releases) out-of-box including WiFi. Toner page count estimates in right ballpark. Easily replaced toner carts (still on original drum). Copier function works well. Nice sharp printing and copying. Makes pretty good scans. OTOH printing is manual only, no sheet feed. Scanner is medium res. No loss of stars for these things at the price point. BUT scanner software is often unable to recognize individual photos if scanning several snaps at once, and correcting this by adjusting boundaries and/or creating new boxes tends to be awkward. For this, -1 star for “Features”.

Once I got this printer set up (I had a little problems with the drivers not working with the latest version of Mac OS at the beginning but was able to get that resolved) I find that the printer works great and is easy and economical to use.

I have used it a few times and it’s been flawless. Can’t ask for anything more, only 4 stars as I want to see future use, other wise 4.75 plus.

Very easy to use and replace ink. Ink is cheaper than most

My print volume is small, so ink cartridges always dried up. Toner last, and is always ready to go. Scanning software is easy to use. Everything just works like it should.

After 30 years in the computer business I thought I had seen it all. I didn’t. You made this nice little machine, but setting it up is a pain somewhere! I connected plenty of printers to my little laptop: Canon, Epson, HP, Kyocera, … none of them was as cumbersome as this brand new brother! Other than that, I like the compact form and the print/scan/copy quality is what I expect from a modern small printer. This printer works only with USB or WiFi. Would it have been so costly to add an Ethernet port? Just asking/suggesting. It could have cut my setup drama by 45min+

With the little use until now the printer works. My major complaint is related to the instructions for the initial assembly which contain pictures of other printers and lack good explanations.

I needed a b&w printer that could handle the paperwork a small church generates. The toner lasts forever, and the printing is great

I love this printer. It was extremely easy to set up for the laptop and our other devices. This is important if you are not tech savvy. I have used it everyday as I work from home. The print quality is excellent. The toner is relatively inexpensive. This is a great printer at an extremely affordable price.

Great tool for making 1 label or multiple for a small business.

This is the absolute worst printer I have ever purchased. It will NOT stay connected to the network so it is IMPOSSIBLE to print when I need to. Cheap, clunky, a waste of money, time, energy, etc. DO NOT PURCHASE.

Good value, but complicated for me to start up the scanner. The next day – it kicked into place.

This is my first laser printer for home use. It warms up fast and is quite. Easy to use from computer or smartphone.

Would never buy another brand again. I have two Brothers and they give me no trouble. Not replacing ink every month at such a ridiculous price. Thank you Brother!
