Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

I havehad a 2280 and thought an upgrade to wireless 2390 would be good. BIG mistake.The 2390 was difficult to set up and then on the first printing it jammed; I removed the jammed paper; there was a continued message, “pull out the two-sided tray….” No idea where that is — I pulled out the only tray that held the paper but the message would not go away and I could not print.

I have another bigger Brother printer at my office and most software programs recognize which one is connected.
