Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

Just what we needed to replace a 10 year old multifunction laser printer which works fine but is USB only. I did without the document feeder only due to size limitations, but we seldom use that feature anyway. Following Brother instructions the setup for Wifi was super easy (I also checked a couple of Youtube videos) and had it up and running on 3 Windows 10 laptops, 2 Android phones, an Android tablet and a Chromebook within a short time. Good value in a printer which is rated highly by many legitimate rating sites.

For routine home use, a laser printer is by far better than a ink jet printer. The ink jet could dry out way too fast. Not the case with this laser cartridge. Easy set up too!
