Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

It prints and scans. Duplex printing. Excellent quality. You can’t do better in a B&W printer.

This printer fit the small desk area that I had. The only thing it doesn’t do is fax, but I have another Brother MFC in the other room that does everything. I purchased this printer to replace a Brother monochrome laser printer that was probably close to 20 years old or more. It still worked, so I gave it to a friend. These machines last a long time with the experiences I had.

I’m just past the 1 year warranty and the thing cannot print without jamming. I’ve tried everything. It jams at the same point in the print job every time. Even when I try to print something different. I’ve tried to find out how to fix it online, to no avail. I will not be buying Brother again, and do not recommend it. Don’t be cute with it. Just stick to Epson or Cannon.

An excellent machine. One thing that I would like to see is the finished copy be expelled about an inch or so further out from the machine. Now I have to “pinch” inside with fingers to pull them out. Also I don’t know if this is possible, but can one scan two items and have the printer print it as a duplex?

Needed it for invitation envelopes and it did great. Also printed a bunch of Christmas letters, great for mass prints.

Good ink consumption. Clear consistent printing. Commands are challenging. Stopped scanning after a year.

I’ve in all of my offices in Germany and in the US Brother printers and I’m totally satisfied with the quality but toner life should be longer.

Good for basic letter printing, but mangles envelopes. The printed envelope comes out scrunched up every time.

Love the ease of set up. Easy to connect to the wifi and stay connected. Very fast in printing! Haven’t had any issues with paper jams which my other printer had often. The only draw back is my husbands ipad does not have settings to reduce the size of print. There may be an app to be able to, but have not been able to find anything to do so.

Unlike my previous HP and Epson ink jet printers, my Brother laser printer connects to my computer, preps for printing, and prints much faster and cleaner! It also doesn’t waste any printing media, which will bring down my costs immensely. Ink jet printers never use up all their ink before it dries out (unless you are printing frequently or very large batches. Toner does not dry up, and it goes much farther.

This machine is a beast and simply the best! Very low maintenance yet performs way better than the other more expensive brands.

For the price of about two inkjet refill cartilage you can buy this printer. The only feature I miss is I wish I would have went up a model and get one with a fax.

My old printer was also Brother and I am happy I did not change the brand. I just switched for combination with scanner. I like especially the print speed, which is much faster then my old printer had.i did not use a wireless connection. I prefer the cord and I am ok with it.
