Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

Relative easy to setup with a wireless connection. Printer is fast and produces great copies. Scanner also works well. The one negative is that this printer will OFTEN trip the AFCI breaker eventhough there is little else on the circuit. This require me to go down two flights of stairs to reset the breaker. Brother was not able to help! My conclusion is that the cause is an internal printer problem that could be remedied.

The printer output is adequate. The scanner is great. I haven’t owned the product long enough to rate the capacity/value of the toner cartridge yet, so maybe they’ll nudge for another review when I am more familiar with the machine. The user manual is… OK, but thankfully the Command Center tools are intuitive/easy to use.

Printer was a refurbished unit. Came to me looking brand new. The printer has printed almost 500 sheets and not one issue. The wireless printing from the PC, Android, and iPhone works flawlessly. Setup was very easy in the phone app and on the PC; just follow the prompts and give them a minute to fund the printer. Two-sided prints are quick. The print looks really good and doesn’t have any artifacts or smudging. Scanning is fast and doesn’t require much to get the scan to the PC.
