Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

Sometimes is just seems to ignore data sent to print. I am wireless connected from 3 PC and it work the same on each. If you turn it off/on it then it will recognize the package.

After much research I landed on this workhorse of a printer. My needs for it are simple. Just a dozen or so copies a day of artwork. I use mostly brother products for printing and their monochrome laser offerings have never disappointed. This model is to the point. Handles what it offers well and while bells and whistles from more advanced models are not present here, I find the price point for this versatile machine appropriate. The menus are bare bones and it makes learning what he machine can do easy. Easy too can you fully exploit what its limitations are. A good daily driver for the handful of months I plan on using it for.

Printer works perfectly connected via wi-fi to a Mac Mini M1 desktop and also a Win10 PC for printing and document scanning. The one button copy feature also works without a problem. Maybe the documentation could be a little clearer, but its easy enough to figure out. Overall I am delighted wit this machine.

We spent a little extra to get a reliable printer but it still does all the unreliable printer stuff. Corrupted driver, out of paper when it’s not, won’t wake up from sleep etc.
