Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

Love the fact that there will be no printer head to clean or get clogged up.Prints from all my devices.I only noticed that it prints a little pale even though I have not done 1000 prints yet.Over all a great buy!!

I bought this for both personal and small business applications and it works great, prints clear, and is recognized by all my devices

It works fine, but the control panel is a bit abstruse: tiny screen + you have to move from one sequence to another—can be frustrating.

This is my first laser printer after years of using ink jet, and I gotta say I will never-ever go back to ink jet. This is blistering fast, and reliable. If you are getting sick of ink jets and all the issues that go with it, it’s time to switch!

I will not ever buy another brand of printers other than Brothers and it has been that way for over ten years

best printer I have owned. It’s fast, wireless connectivity is reliable and it does all that I need to WFH. the one feature I wish I had spent more money for would be the feeder tray. to make copies, or scans, without the feeder tray, its more time consuming.

This my second Brother equipment, they are really worth. Still using the older but added this for the copy and scanning. Excellent.

This laser does it all, duplex printing, is quick, and great quality. Love the scanner too. It’s a workhorse.

I’ve only had this printer for 3 months and it goes off line all the time. I have to shut it down or do a complete set up again. Works great otherwise.

After turning on printer if you do not printer right away it enters deep sleep mode and cannot print. No on/off button or reset button on printer and power cord hard wired to back of printer. Therefore, to reboot/reset printer have to crawl under desk to unplug power and reset

Very quiet. I let it sit for days without use and it fires up easily when I use it. Interface on my laptop for the printer is easy to use. Keys on printer itself are frustrating since keying in to copy two sided is ignored 90% of the time. But that flaw is outweighed by the quiet, the speed, and the reliability so far.

Makes good prints. Scan software is easier to use than some. The price was very attractive.

This was my first laser printer and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. This Brother printer works better than I could’ve imagined. I use it in my small home office and it saves me a lot of time and money. Love that I can print from all of my devices.

The instructions showed the ink cartridge being inserted into the side of the machine, whereas in reality it had to be inserted into the front. Very confusing! No instructions would have been better than incorrect ones.

Purchased the Brothers printer in Jan of 2019. It has performed flawlessly. Got almost 500 pages out of the original cartridge. Would definitely recommend this for someone needing monochrome printing. Very easy to set up and load software. Easy to connect wirelessly and wired for internet connection. Will purchase another Brothers when this one goes down.

Great printer but be aware that OEM toner cartridges are $80 and do not come anywhere near the estimated yields even if printing primarily text. Tip: When the display says “Toner Low”, remove the toner cartridge and gently roll it backward and forward. It is not necessary to remove the cartridge from the holder to do this. Ignore the alerts and keep printing until the machine won’t print anymore. If this fails, remove the cartridge from the holder and check the gold contact plate. Mine had a bit of schmutz on it so I cleaned it with a dry clean cloth and popped it back in. The cartridge is still working after 2 years.

It is important to read and comprehend ALL the instructions thoroughly. Just as in the Overall Rating above, I wanted to leave two stars and ny selecting that, I initially gave it four stars. Is everything in Chinese these days? I have owned Xerox, HP, Canon and other printers previously, but nothing as difficult as this.
