Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

Received this beautiful Brother HL L2390DW a few weeks back. Was using a Canon photo printer and was literally burning through ink$$$$. Let me tell you how easy this printer is to setup. Took it of the box, performed the initial setup, plugged in the power and then moved right into setting up WiFi. Selected my WiFi network and entered pw. Downloaded the Brother App for printing and scanning for my iPhone. Done. Downloaded the Brother drivers and software from Brothers website and installed to my PC. Done. Prints so fast and so smooth from every device I have it connected to. My 80 year old MIL bought one off my recommendation and before I could help her, she already had it setup and printing from her iphone. Prints fast, prints on both sides without having to turn pages over yourself, it scans and copies no problem. Paper tray holds a substantial amount of paper too. Letter and legal sized paper. I am overly pleased with my purchase and recommend this printer for anyone looking for speed and efficient monochrome printing, in addition to scanning and copying.

I bought a new computer and thought it was time go with wireless printing. It is, but this isn’t the printer to do it. After spending 20 hours trying to connect I called in an experienced IT friend. He couldn’t get a connection. An hour on the phone with Brother Help didn’t do it either. As a consequence I’m still using a USB connection.

I work at home and my printing needs does not require and color. Looking to replace a b/w laser printer that I’ve been using for the past 10 years, I started my research for a replacement. Most printers on the market are of ink jet color printers. The printer itself is not so expensive, but the CYMK ink cartridges are very expensive. Yes, I understand that is how these printer company makes their money now a days, but one thing I know for sure is that a ink jet cartridge will dry up eventually, and that the black ink is the one that gets used the most. Since my work does not require color printing, and that I do not print documents everyday, I started my search for a monochrome printer. My main b/w printer was a samsung, as well as a smaller Brother b/w printer. Ultimately I decided on the Brother is because of its’ quality build. The design and construction of the Brother printer is top notch. The speed of warming up to print the first page is amazingly fast. Prints very fast too. The scanning function is excellent. I have the Brother printer connected wirelessly and shared so that everyone in my family can print. This is an excellent printer with very low maintenance.
