Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2390DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 32 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2390DW has a two-line monochrome LCD for checking current status and settings. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

I just saw an unhappy comment from another customer, and I hope their problem is now solved. I too was disappointed with the initial undependable wireless performance. After doing some research, we replaced our aging household wireless network, and now the printer works perfectly EVERY time! It was not the new printer; it was our network. Yes, I am a happy customer.

Easy to set up and easy to use. Works well for my home office. I only print/scan several times a week and so far seems to be working well.

The only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 is because I thought the set up instructions when it came to requiring your mac address was actually your wireless password which took me some time to determine. I also don’t care for the fact that the lid when you are copying or scanning does not stay open unless you hold it. Overall, very happy thus far with the printer.

Works well for what I use it for. Would like it better if it had a document feeder for scanning.

A my “computer guy” recommended this type of printer to me. I was spending lots of money on color ink cartridges, so he recommended this black and white laser printer. It is quiet and fast. I do miss being able to make color copies, but this printer is so much better than my previous printer that I’ll make do for now!

The only reason I did not give it a 5 star rating is that out-of-date software made setup more of a nuisance than it should have been

The print direction is hard to follow for printing both sides

I would give this piece of junk negative stars, if I could. It’s awful. I use this printer for homeschooling, so I’m printing at random hours and I need to be able to print from my phone on the fly. I bought this printer because it had such good reviews, but it regularly glitches. Sometimes it will print from my phone, but usually not. Half the time it it prints from my ChromeBook, but the other half it’s uncertain why it isn’t working. It’s terrible. Save your sanity.

I am sorry but I don’t have much to say. I use it at home to mostly copy emails. I love being able to hit print on my computer in the living room, and it will be there waiting for me when I go to the printer in my bedroom.

This printer does all it is supposed to do efficiently and economically, including the color scan functions. I print very infrequently and was angry at having to deal with ink jet cartridges drying up in a very short time after printing a few pages. This laser printer has eliminated that problem while delivering high quality print and scanning capability.

We opted for Black only because we were so sick of the 5 in 1 colored printers, when we didn’t use the colors so much anyway, but had to pay a lot for 4 of them when they would empty out. We were so happy to get this Brother printer years later! For some unknown reason, I have trouble printing from my iPad a lot! Everything looks ready when I go to print, except the “Print button” doesn’t turn blue so it will send to print. ( I have to click on my printer name, back and forth several times, (if it chooses to show up, instead of, “AirPrint not available,”) which is irritating also, because I have never used AirPrint. And after hitting the Brother name enough times, going back and forth from location page to double sided page, if I’m lucky, the print light will turn blue, and shortly after I can hear the sweet sounds of the printer printing! My husband rarely has any problems printing from his computer. He doesn’t understand why I have so much trouble. And I bet it’s something really small that I didn’t do or need to do, but just have no clue how to make it work all the time on a regular basis.Thanks.

No more smeared papers. No more running out out any ink.

Love this multi-function printer//scanner/copier in every way but one: It frequently drops its WiFi connection, and I have to plug my laptop in with a USB cord to do anything. But for the first few months, the WiFi link worked great. It was lovely to be able to print from anywhere in the house.
