Compact and fully-featured, the HL-L2395DW All-In-One Monochrome Laser Printer from Brother will find itself welcome in both the home or small offices. An all-in-one design makes it a great choice for space-conscious offices as it fits printing, scanning, and copying within a single unit. Also, the printing capabilities are very good with a max resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi and print speeds of up to 36 ppm. The printer can also work with documents up to 8.5 x 14″ in size using the 250-sheet input tray or one-sheet manual feed slot.
Scanning and copying is made possible through the inclusion of an 8.5 x 11.7″ flatbed. Also, an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi ensures that scans are detailed and sharp. For operation, the HL-L2395DW has a 2.7″ color touchscreen LCD, which enables various direct printing and scanning options. Additionally, it features Wi-Fi connectivity, alongside standard USB 2.0 and Ethernet, for completely wireless operation and support for direct printing from mobile devices.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I received this product in exchange for my unbiased opinion. This machine is relatively light and compact and performs several functions, including copying, scanning, and printing.Physical setup was easy. The package was well-wrapped, but it was not difficult to remove the various tapes and films. The instructions were clear on how to open and install the included toner cartridge. It was also easy to remove the paper tray and adjust the paper guides. You can use this printer with a traditional USB cable or via a network. I had no problem connecting the printer to my laptop via USB and did not need to install additional drivers (this may vary with different computers). To print via a network, you first have to connect the printer to a wifi network. I was able to do this quickly via the printed instructions and the touch screen menu, which is intuitive and easy to read. For printing from a mobile device, the setup was a little more difficult. I had to go online to the Brother website and watch a video about how to configure the printer. Although it took a little bit of time, the video and online instructions were easy to follow. Within about 15-20 minutes , I was able to print directly from my mobile phone. On my iPhone, I could print directly from some apps without any additional software. You can also download the Brother iPrint & Scan app, which is free.Print and scan quality is good for a monochrome printer. Of course, since it is only black and white, you will be limited in what kinds of documents you can reproduce. But the compact size and ease of use would be great for a home office or small business that needs a moderately high amount of printing without taking up too much space or being too heavy to move.

Had an HP ink jet and was not happy with ink cartridges. Love the toner, speed of the printer and the amount of pages the toner will give you.

Great monochrome printer. Relatively quiet, fast startup and easy to network. Software and drivers are easy to use and install. The front document feeder is a BIG plus envelopes and specialty papers/forms. Scanning is quick and easy to configure in both color and black & white.

I’ve been a fan of Brother products for some time. This printer is no exception. I’ve used most of the functionality of this printer, and I only have two issues, that are minor. The front loading paper tray isn’t easy to align. I hope future models have a way to expand the tray outward, to allow the paper to sit in it flat, instead of crooked. I have already printed checks for vendor invoices and they print about 15 degrees off center, while still functional, it’s a problem when stuffing envelopes and you need the address centered. Other than that, the printer is quick, and quieter than my previoud Brother Printer from almost 10 years ago. I look forward to buying more Brother products in the future.

This printer prints great but it has quirks. The biggest is that wireless printing no longer works after the printer go into sleep mode. Even after waking it up manually it doesn’t respond. It requires it to be shut off then turned back on. On a minor note it tends to curl the corners when two-side printing.

I wanted a basic B&W laser printer that would work well with my 10-year old MacPro desktop. So far, this printer has consistently met my needs. It starts and prints fast each time, and scanning has been reliable as well. I have no complaints with its performance.

I have not found a way to make copies of multiple sheets to be copied, except one sheet at a time by scanning each sheet separately instead of putting in the stack of sheets to be copied. I am satisfied with the quality of the copies in black and white.

This thing works every time, is efficient with its toner, and has very few bells and whistles. It’s just a basic quality printer that won’t drive you insane like many others.
