Utilizing four toner cartridges, the printer outputs documents at a maximum resolution of 2400 x 600 dpi. Fast printing speeds of 25 ppm and a 250-sheet input capacity ensure that the printer can keep up with your workflow. This printer is also capable of duplex printing at speeds up to 3 sheets per minute on letter or A4-sized paper. USB and Wi-Fi connectivity allow the printer to adapt to multiple office setups. I was constantly running back and forth to our office’s “centrally-located” copier, especially for color copies. The Brother HLL3230CDW printer has eliminated many of those daily steps to the copier. Overall, the print quality is very good, although the text appears to be somewhat lighter. I don’t like using the bypass tray to print envelopes, though – they have a tendency to “wrinkle” and curl in the process. However, overall, I am very pleased with this printer.

Setting up the printer was easy and the print quality is great. Setting up the wireless was a challenge. We have two computers and every time I connected the printer to one it would disconnect from the other computer. Ended up hard wiring too one and wireless to the other.

Prints beautiful color pages quickly and supplies are relatively inexpensive. Handles even the thickest card stock. My only complaint is that the manual feed tray takes one sheet at a time. My B&W laser printer that this replaced could handle up to 50 sheets in the manual feed tray.

There were a few glitches getting started but most have been sorted out. It still goes to sleep occasionally and will not wake up on command but with a lot of patience it usually does eventually wake up. Two sided printing quit working shortly after starting to use it regularly but so far all my 2 sided work has been single sheet so I can accomplish it manually.

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. Prints quickly, gave me the option to print double sided. Takes on various weights of paper without glitching. Multiple pieces of paper are working well at the same time. I like that I can connect to the wireless network and print to whatever my computer and printer are connected to. The instructions were easy. Assembly was self explanatory and easy to do. It is heavy and feels like a solid piece of equipment that my home or office would use for a long time. I can`t have it next to me, it has a high pitch noise after printing is complete, so I would like it on the other side of my office. I will keep using this. I like it! I love the color print aspect of this printer!Overall seems like a great piece. AirPrint as an option is stellar, handy to print from my mobile device or tablet. Looking forward to connecting many devices to this printer.

I have owned other Brother black White laser printers which are reliable and I researched this printer and found that it had the features that I needed and consumables at a very reasonable price. It will also use card stock on the manual feedthrough.

A little big, but normal for laser printer. Very good printer overall, specially if if you have lot of printing to do. Don’t forget refill is very expensive $$$

I wanted the option to print in color, but knowing I would mostly use b&w. Inkjet color cartridges on my old printer routinely dried up from lack of use and I would have to waste time and ink cleaning the print heads over and over when I needed to print in color. I already own a stand-alone scanner, so I didn’t need an all-in-one printer. However, I didn’t want to spend a ridiculous amount of money. This printer was the perfect solution. I connect it via Ethernet to my Mac, and via WiFi to all the other devices in our house. It is fast and the outcome looks great.

I have used this printer several times and it works well. it is relatively quiet and seems fairly efficient. I like the fact that in the printing dialogue that comes up on my computer screen after I click on “Print”, I can select to use the full printing features or else I can reduce the use of toner through printing only mono format or select toner saving mode. I also like that this printer is able to print both sides of the paper, which I know I will find handy at times and it saves on paper. I do not do high volume printing, but for my purposes, this printer is a very good buy. I had previously purchased a different model of Brother laser printer in 2008 and it lasted for years until I finally realized I need to replace it. So far I am happy with it and I think others should consider this model as I think they will be happy with it also.
