With the Brother MFC-J6945DW INKvestment Tank All-in-One Inkjet Printer, you can print, copy, scan, and fax your documents all in one device, making it ideal for small businesses and home offices.
Print documents at a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi. The 500-sheet input tray and 100-sheet bypass tray support up to 11 x 17″ paper sizes. The MFC-J6945DW can reach up to 22 ppm for monochrome prints and up to 20 ppm for color prints. There is also duplex printing support.
For all the other functions, the MFC-J6945DW is equipped with both a 50-sheet automatic document feeder and an 11 x 17″ flatbed with an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200 dpi. This configuration will capture fine detail in your originals and allow the creation of sharp copies with ease. Along with these capabilities, the printer features a 3.7″ color touchscreen for checking current status and has built-in Wi-Fi connectivity with support for direct mobile printing. You can also use NFC for “one touch to connect” mobile device printing and scanning. Additionally, it has USB 2.0 and Ethernet connections for wired configurations.
Experience uninterrupted printing and convenience with up to one year of ink, based on printing approximately 300 pages per month, using only the cartridges provided in-box.

I have had it for about a month now and I’m very happy with it. The bottom tray can be extended to fit 11×17 paper so I have 8 1/2×11 in the top tray and 11×17 in the bottom. Make sure you have space as it is large (as one would expect from an all-in-one that handles 11×17). Got it set up quickly with Wifi and have not any had issues.

Quiet and fast. Big screen,easy control buttons. It is a large footprint printer. Brother did a great job putting the ink tank in a cartridge format so not necessary to transfer ink from a bottle to built in tank as on other ink-tank printers. This is a two paper tray printer. Tray 1 does not have a cover as does tray 2, so don’t think one is missing when unpacking.

This machine is a beautiful best with everything I want and need in a printer except DRIVERS! If you buy this machine because it is economical to use be prepared to waste a lot of ink, paper and time trying, and mostly failing, to get it to do what you want it to do if you are not printing from Word. If you are printing from a web page or an email for instance, the printer will not differentiate between letter and landscape mode. I just tried to print an email, selected letter orientation and it printed the top of the letter in landscape orientation on one sheet and lost the rest of it. The console on the machine asked me if I wanted to continue printing or some such. I said yes and got nothing. I switched the orientation and tried again and it printed nothing at all.

There is NO OTHER BRAND, no other machine like this one. A true color, ledger duplexing scanner with dual trays? My dream machine! PLEASE never take this one off the market – unless you are upgrading a part of it! But ALWAYS have a ledger duplexing machine, and I will ALWAYS buy a Brother. I’m only on my 2nd one in a decade, but I’m expecting to need a new one in a year or two. This machine meets my ledger duplexing needs perfectly!

I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. I liked this printer for many of its different functions really like the large scanner and the fact that you can print up to two documents at once. i also like the different paper sources as well as the option to print up too lgr sizes.the copier works fine the email print option is phenomenal how quick it print.the fax came through fast,usb works well. I noticed the when making copies that more paper come out than needed as i made copy it would print on ever other page. overall i would purchase this product and recommend it.
