This is a replacement for my old brother printer. This printer is even better than my last one, at a great price. Highly Recommended company and its products.

This printer fits perfectly in my small space and has worked well with the wireless setup.

I love everything about this printer so far, except the copy function – it defaults to “Best” and won’t let me select “Normal”. I most often make a copy of something for reference, and just next a quick copy . . . the “Best” function takes

The ease of operation and print quality make this an excellent home printer. The ink is reasonably priced and last a long time.

Great for home printing at a reasonable price. Although great performance, care must be taken loading paper and replacing the ink. Plastic parts are very thin and can easily broke, My previous 10 year old HP Photo smart printer was more robust. Also note that scanned / copied documents are not placed in the traditional corner of the glass.

I previously owned all epson printers, so I had a long learning curve ahead. But Epson went to tank ink and I do not print continuously and was afraid of the ink drying out. Also the Epson products did not have great reviews anymore. So I gave Brother printers a try. The MFC-J895MD has not disappointed me. I use the printer for general printing but mainly to print my photos. I like the individual cartridges and they perform well. They are not as expensive as the Epsons, another plus.

I’ve only been using the copier for one month but so far have been pleased with it. It prints very slowly but for the price I’m happy with it. Scanning is good as well. I am interested to see how much ink it uses.

So far, so good. I wish the paper tray was a little more substantial – it feels fragile. Otherwise, satisfied.

I have been an HP user for over 30 years and I finally couldn’t take all the problems and switched to Brothers. I will never go back !!!

Mechanically perfect. Cosmetically perfect. I have only been using for a couple of weeks, so there is no long term experience to write about yet. Not sure how accurate the software is at showing ink usage…I hope that it is not accurate, as it looks like I have used more than I expected for the number of pages printed. However, my old HP Officejet would tell me that the cartridge was near empty, and then continue running for several weeks before needing replacement. Again, only experience with the printer software, and the printer will provide that knowledge. I am not printing any photographs, so I cannot assess that area of printing, however my gut perception is that the printouts, while clear, almost look like draft setting copies, which are fine for my purposes. The wi-fi setup went seamlessly, and in my opinion was smoother than working with my old HP Officejet. I appreciate the smaller footprint of this printer. It’s pretty quiet also.

Happy with product so far. Have not used everything yet. Prints on demand with no serious issues. Did have some missed area printing not all the way, but I was very easily navigated through the screens to get the print heads cleaned and this resolved the issue. In particular, when you print a test page, it uses very, very low ink, and this is very important.

I have no problems with my “Brother.” However, I just wish that I didnot have to go online to get an owners manual.
