Simple to connect and offering print, scan, copy, and fax capabilities in a single unit, the MFC-J895DW-series Work Smart All-in-One Inkjet Printer from Brother will fill a variety of critical roles in any home or home office. It offers good speed with 12 ppm printing in black and 10 ppm in color. It also will create detailed photographs and sharp text with a print resolution of 6000 x 1200 dpi. Along with this, automatic duplex and borderless printing are available at print sizes up to 8.5 x 11", though the unit can handle documents as large as 8.5 x 14".
Scanning and faxing are possible due to the integration of a flatbed and 20-sheet ADF that handles your documents and photos. The max optical resolution is 2400 x 1200 dpi for creating vivid, finely detailed images. Also, it has a 2.7" color touchscreen LCD for checking status and adjusting settings. Standard paper handling is possible via the 100-sheet input tray and a bypass feed is available for certain media.
Setting up the MFC-J895DW is simple with options for USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet with NFC connectivity. Users will also be able to connect directly with their mobile devices using Wi-Fi Direct. I love the wireless feature – very convenient. the ink packs seem to last a decent amount of time and very easy to order them off the website. Don’t like that you can’t have Windows 10 installed on your computer – if you do the printer WON’T WORK!!!! You need to fix this flaw soon and I had to find this out on my own after a week of trying to figure out what was wrong.

Have not printed any pics to know how good they may look, but regular printing and copy have worked great, seems like ink is lasting nicely,I like the way the ink can be replaced without having to open the top of the printer up,also like the auto print head cleaning

Installation smooth. ADF works well. Print quality is excellent. The touchscreen is small, as described, and if you have sight challenges it will be difficult to see. Overall very happy with purchase.

The machine was very easy to set up and the print quality is great. The only thing I found I don’t like is a heavy bond paper, I don’t know what thickness it’s called, won’t print on both sides. If I want the heavy bond paper to print on the back, I must take it out and replace it in the paper basket with the printed side up.

We had an older workhorse HP inkjet that finally just broke. It had an ink cartridge hold down made of plastic that just gave out. Worthless after that. And it was not wireless. After reading reviews on this Brother MFC-J895DW, we knew what printer we would get next. We waited for it to go on sale and the wait was worth it! With all our wireless devices in the house, I only wish we had bought a wireless printer eons ago. It does seem to use ink pretty readily, but cartridges are reasonably priced and more importantly, easy to change. I’m also impressed with the features and the quality of this Brother product.

I have been a long time customer of the Brother line of printers. I have had HP & Canon printers in the past, but have found the Brother printers are reliable and easy to use. My last printer lasted for many years and I only replaced it because the cleaner reservoir filled up and I figured it would be just as inexpensive to replace as to repair. I’m so glad I did. I don’t do a lot of photo printing, but do use it to write checks and make out envelopes, so the individual feed tray in the back is so very handy. Plus, it is so much faster than the old printer. I’m very please with the larger paper tray and the fax speed (yes, I still fax on occasion). I highly recommend this printer for home use or for a small business.

If you are looking for a reliable reasonably priced printer, this is a great one. This is the first Brother printer I’ve owned and I am happy I switched from HP. Its the least expensive printer I’ve had and it’s works just as well as a printer three times the price. The cartridges are not as expensive as others I have used. I gave it four stars because the quality of the printing isn’t as crisp as I expected.

I am very happy with my AIO inkjet printer and would highly recommend it if the price of the ink cartridges were lowered to a better level and discounts were offered to seniors on fixed incomes.

The printer works fine, but inability to have both hardwired and wifi to work at the same time is a problem. Otherwise, I’m happy with the printer.

I live this printer. We have a small office and it’s perfect for our needs. It’s very easy to set up and use. I have the app and print directly from my phone.

We had a brothers printer before this and it served us well. That’s why we purchased another one. This one might go through more ink than our old one, but its not an issure.

Had a little trouble deciding how to allow this printer to communicate with all of my devices (PC, Laptop, iPad, iPhones), but settled on the LAN method. Works great with all of my devices, wired and wirelessly.
