Simple to connect and offering print, scan, copy, and fax capabilities in a single unit, the MFC-J895DW-series Work Smart All-in-One Inkjet Printer from Brother will fill a variety of critical roles in any home or home office. It offers good speed with 12 ppm printing in black and 10 ppm in color. It also will create detailed photographs and sharp text with a print resolution of 6000 x 1200 dpi. Along with this, automatic duplex and borderless printing are available at print sizes up to 8.5 x 11", though the unit can handle documents as large as 8.5 x 14".
Scanning and faxing are possible due to the integration of a flatbed and 20-sheet ADF that handles your documents and photos. The max optical resolution is 2400 x 1200 dpi for creating vivid, finely detailed images. Also, it has a 2.7" color touchscreen LCD for checking status and adjusting settings. Standard paper handling is possible via the 100-sheet input tray and a bypass feed is available for certain media.
Setting up the MFC-J895DW is simple with options for USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet with NFC connectivity. Users will also be able to connect directly with their mobile devices using Wi-Fi Direct. In addition to this, a USB host port is available for plugging in portable flash drives and there is a vast array of mobile printing support.

My Brother MFC-J895DW wireless multi-function printer is, by far, the best printer I’ve ever had, especially for an inexpensive printer. It operates flawlessly, was easy to set up, and the software was easy to download and install. I didn’t expect features like double-sided printing, auto document feed, auto feed of envelopes, with a low-priced printer. I would buy this printer again in a heartbeat.

Requests on setup alternating between clean the rollers – which are brand new and spotless, and close the rear door – which was never opened. Trying multiple levels of paper, opening and closing various doors, and unplugging and re-plugging in (literally does not turn off by power button). Absolutely worthless. A miserable waste.

This makes it much more convenient to place the printer where it is accessible, but yet not taking up all the available space which can be used for other equipment. The set up is simple to accomplish by following the step by step guidance. Once set up I had no difficulty printing wireless from other computers after installing the software. The PC used for set up does not need to be turned on for use by other PCs. The ink cartridge installation is simple and compact as well. Simple design and set up. Great choice for printing needs.
