Simple to connect and offering print, scan, copy, and fax capabilities in a single unit, the MFC-J895DW-series Work Smart All-in-One Inkjet Printer from Brother will fill a variety of critical roles in any home or home office. It offers good speed with 12 ppm printing in black and 10 ppm in color. It also will create detailed photographs and sharp text with a print resolution of 6000 x 1200 dpi. Along with this, automatic duplex and borderless printing are available at print sizes up to 8.5 x 11", though the unit can handle documents as large as 8.5 x 14".
Scanning and faxing are possible due to the integration of a flatbed and 20-sheet ADF that handles your documents and photos. The max optical resolution is 2400 x 1200 dpi for creating vivid, finely detailed images. Also, it has a 2.7" color touchscreen LCD for checking status and adjusting settings. Standard paper handling is possible via the 100-sheet input tray and a bypass feed is available for certain media.
Setting up the MFC-J895DW is simple with options for USB 2.0, Wi-Fi, and Ethernet with NFC connectivity. Users will also be able to connect directly with their mobile devices using Wi-Fi Direct. In addition to this, a USB host port is available for plugging in portable flash drives and there is a vast array of mobile printing support.

Don’t use a printer that much to get excited about. It prints clearly but after having used another brand for over 20 years I’m finding it difficult to figure this one out. Also the number of places that handle ink for it are extremely limited in my area.

Very good and fast copier. I just wish it held more paper, and that the paper tray didn’t have that big plastic flap on top. It could use some minor improvements, like a larger paper capacity and a more ergonomic and less flimsy paper tray. I’m glad I bought it.

This printer’s print quality is very good but the printer seems to have a flimsy paper tray that is difficult to open on a flat surface with the paper catcher open. It almost requires shutting the paper catcher in order to pull open the paper tray. Our biggest complaint is the size of the cartridges. We have to replace them once every week or two. Our old HP had larger (more ink capacity) and lasted much longer. We would like a paper tray with greater capacity too. Again the print quality is very good and the scanning is very good. We are looking for a replacement printer now after 4 months of use.

Very easy to set up. Like where ink is located and labeled. Prints nicely. Have only printed with it so can’t speak to other features but I am very pleased. Not much plastic and seems well made. A bargain.

I had a HP printer previously and it wokrd for a while but then I have problems with it printing two sided. Additionally, i could not get the blue tooth to work. This printer was easy to setyp and I especially like the ability to print from my phone or iPad.

I love this Color Ink Jet Printer so far. The Print Head on Other Ink Jet Printer that I have had eventually clogged and I had to scrap the printers. So this is my first Brother Ink Jet Printer and I like it very much. I have printed several hundred pages with NO Problems. I like having separate Ink Cartridges for each color. I bought a Brother MonoChrome Laser Printer for high volume printing where I do not need color.

The thing prints. Its a bit noisy. I grew tired of HPs dying every two years. First Brother printer, wish it had a larger black ink cartridge. The scan and scan software work well. I would definitely consider purchasing another Brother.

The MFC-J895DW does exactly what would expect from a “excellent” all in one printer. Only feature that should be added in my opinion is after sending a fax manually that you would be able to print a transaction report confirming fax sent, where sent too, number of pages and date/time.

It was super easy setup, the instruction manual made it simple to follow the step by step instructions for setup and use. It`s so nice to be able to print from my iPhone, I`ve never been able to do this with my past home printers. Furthermore, the double sided printing made for less paper waste and is one of my favorite features!!! I now recommend this printer to all my family and friends.
